An exciting tapas tour with a nice tour guide. - Jenni was a nice young woman who managed to get the group connected at first hand. Suddenly we weren’t a group of strangers but a collected group who were with Jenni on this special tapas tour. Jenni told us a little about the different buildings and other sights but also said that the tour was a tapas tour and not a sightseeing tour but anyway we felt that she knew a lot. The four restaurants were fine and the variation of food was good. We tried things we wouldn’t have tried otherwise and that was very nice.

Fun night with guide Joni - Great value strolling the Gothic area. Generous delish tapas. They accommodated my vegetarian request. Nice pace/not rushed. Great company with fellow tourists. Guide Joni was friendly & engaging.

Go hungry!!! - Agreed with all positive reviews for Alex. We had a great time and enjoyed the food and wine. We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food prepared by the Test Kitchen chef. Would highly recommend this tour with Alex!

Great tour, would recommend - Roberto was an excellent host and tour guide. We unknowingly booked the tour on the same day of a major festival in Barcelona so one of the restaurants had us waiting a long time for food, but Roberto kept us entertained with his knowledge, good humor, and flowing wine. We enjoyed much of the food and loved learning about the city and the history behind tapas.

Well worth it - We had a great time! Easy way to eat a little food and learn a little about Barcelona at the same time, as well as meet new people!

Wonderful evening tapas tour! - This was a terrific tour and Juan was an excellent host. We sampled a wide variety of tapas and local delicacies, with one stop at a chef’s kitchen for selections prepared just for us. In addition, we had vermouth, wines and sangria: all great! Would highly recommend (come hungry!)

Too little history, anecdotes and food - I had high expectations based on the reviews, but unfortunately they weren't met. A short summary: 1. I had expected more facts/anecdotes/ history about Barcelona and its food and drink culture. We got very little of that. 2. It said on the site that they catered for allergies, but absolutely didn't. The suggestion was that I eat the toppings from the pinxos (small sandwiches) and leave the bread. Which if you know anything about gluten allergy then that is an awful idea. So skip this tour if you have allergies. 3. The food and drinks were quite nice, but it was a bit too little in quantity I think, the last place should have offered 2 more tapas in my opinion. Overall I had a nice evening anyhow, since our guide and the group we met were a fun group from lots of different countries, we had a good time. But I can't recommend the tour as it is: they need to step up the quality to feel like it was worth the time and money.
