It was a busy day, but we... - It was a busy day, but we managed to see a lot of Barcelona, experience the Sagrada Familia and Montserrat. Our guide, Vicente, was very knowledgeable and provided history, legends, and even some useful tips (restaurant recommendations, the markets locals visit, etc.).

Great one day introduction to the best of Barcelona - This tour delivered so much more than we anticipated! Our guide Teo made the tour extra special with his great sense of humor and deep knowledge of the city. In addition to seeing the sights we learned a lot about Catalan history, culture, language, lifestyle and music. Our tour of the Gothic Quarter was so interesting. Téo showed us so much more than we could learn from any guidebook. He encouraged us to look up, not just charge straight ahead. The time allotted to each of the sites was perfect. The tour also included side trips to Montjuic and the beach. Although our guide did not go into the magnificent Sagrada Familia with us, he made sure we were well prepared for our experience and it was nice to enjoy it on our own. While the weather at Monserrat turned foggy and rainy at the end we learned so much about the history and cultural/religious significance of the mountain and the monastery before it disappeared in the fog. A great time was had by our little band of American and British tourists in Teo’s van. Definitely better than a big bus tour!

Very informative and pleasant guide - Our guide Matt was incredibly friendly and had great insight to give, not only on the 2 places we visited but also on the city itself as we drove to the locations. We definitely got more than what we paid for!

Stunning Montserrat and Sagrada Familia. - Our guide, Joan, was informative, friendly, and went out of his way to ensure we had a great experience. Our tour bus was perfect for the 8 persons in our group. Having a guide to explain the history, arhitecture, and religious artifacts and their meaning is recommended. Montserrat was great and the location stunning. Arriving early to visit the basilica helped avoid crowds and long waits. However, the cafeterias were busy with long lines. The Sagrada Familia was very busy but being part of a tour group help avoid long lines to get in. The interior of the church is amazing. The sunlit stained glass windows bathed the inside in stunning colors. It was a long day, over 9 hours, as the tour included stops at other sites in Barcelona and a walk through the Gothic neighborhood but it was well worth it.
