Great historic tour - We had a great time on this carriage tour! Nicole was an excellent guide and historian. She expertly managed the horses, related historical facts and stories, and gave us a better understanding and appreciation for Beaufort and it's role in history. It's a smallish carriage with a max of 4 adults across and 4 rows, so it was easy to hear her (& she had a mic & we had earphones if needed) and we had great visibility. It's about an hour and at a very slow pace, but covers most of the historic area and beautiful antebellum homes.

Truly the best way to see a lot of Beaufort - Was glad price was within reason and the time of year wasn’t too stinking hot to preclude our being able to enjoy this 1-hour look at Beaufort. Our guide was fairly up on what she was presenting and clearly liked and respected Angus, the horse she was guiding. One can see that this company is kind to the ‘horses that feed you’ (tourist $$$). I might have liked a bit more substance about former residents who inhabited Beufort but an effort was made to go by several locations known as movie settings or stars’ quarters /residences.
