Optional extras include a ride to the top of the wall by cable car and a toboggan ride back down (both own expense). Depending on your arrival time, you typically have around three hours at the wall to hike and take photos. \n\nAfter wall back in Beijing, your trip ends with drop-off at your hotel

Our chauffeur will meet you in your hotel’s lobby. You will then embark on a 1.5-hour journey from Beijing city to the less frequented but stunning Mutianyu section of the Great Wall, where you can hike to your heart’s content. The Mutianyu Great Wall is renowned for its picturesque environment, featuring lush forests and verdant meadows that shift hues with each passing season. Following your excursion, we will arrange your return to the hotel.

Highly recommend for an easy experience. - Absolutely perfect! Booking this made my visit a lot easier. Great communication before the day, and my driver (Jack) was 10/10. Arrived on time, clean spacious vehicle with heating, and had plenty of water/fruit. With this you get a vip pass, so you go straight to the wall/cable car station, whilst everyone else has to queue for a shuttle bus. I went as soon as it opened, so got to see part of the wall with nobody else there! Jack helped me take some photos as I was alone, and then waited at the cafe. They help you buy tickets, show you where to go, no trying to sell you anything. Jack even helped me book other things which I wouldn't have been able to do without a local sim card. I highly recommend this company, booking this means you can do whatever you want, worth it for a once in the lifetime experience.

Fantastic service and experience - Best experience in China. The driver, Ruby, was very service minded and informative. Nice an clean car. And extremly friendly driver. We highly recommend this tour and Ruby!! Top experience!

Great - Our driver Mr. Kong was on time. He is very professional and kind. We got there really early so it was perfect. Not very many people yet. It took about 2.5h for the hike and Mr. Kong was right there waiting for us when we were done.

Great day! - Alvin, our driver, was prompt and excellent! He helped us obtain our tickets when we got to the wall and then came with us to ensure we knew where to go. He then left us to explore at our own pace and met us at the bottom exactly where he said. Super day, would highly recommend if you like to explore at your own leisure!

Amazing - This was a comfortable and amazing experience to go to the Great Wall, explore in on our own and meet up with your tour guide after once we were done exploring. Our tour guide was amazing!! Loved the privacy and independence this tour gave me. Highly recommend this tour to everyone looking to have a magical experience at the Great Wall with their friends and family!!

Very pleased - We are all very happy and pleased with Jenny. She provided a van that is clean and new 👍 The driver, Mr. Qian, is very friendly and very helpful. He even accompanied us to climb up to Tower 1 of the great wall and help us take pictures. Very highly recommended.

Smooth and beautiful day - Jenny was efficient in arranging a driver and always quick to reply our enquiries. We were paired with driver Ruby who waited patiently for us in our hotel lobby for pickup and also while we went and ventured the Great Wall.
