- MUST HAVE PREVIOUS SWIMMING AND SNORKELING EXPERIENCE OR WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GET IN THE WATER!!!
- MUST BE comfortable in the water, be comfortable using floatation if needed (we have Ride Along option available for non-swimmers)
- Must be in good health and fit condition, must be able to climb a short ladder
- Due to the nature of this tour and the safety of all guests, the tour operator reserves the right to refuse service to passengers who are intoxicated or show signs of intoxication. If, as a result, your tour is canceled, you will not be entitled to a refund.

- Recommended to bring towel, clothes for change, sweatshirt or light jacket

A Big Island Must Do - We loved our manta ray swim! We rode out of the dock for about 15 minutes and were so lucky to have about 15 - 20 mantas feeding. We did not see the famed Big Bertha, but the rays were still MASSIVE. The water is so clear you can see the ocean floor from the lights, and the rays were gliding and circling so beautifully. Its really beyond words how amazing the experience is. Definitely the highlight of our trip.
The crew was so knowledgeable and helpful. As a bonus they played some great music on the ride there and back, introduced me to a bunch of new artists

You have to try it. - I was actually at first terrified of going into the middle of the ocean in the dark at night thinking it’ll be extremely cold and uncomfortable, not knowing what scary creatures will be below. I also was scared of getting claustrophobic in the snorkeling gear. I begrudgingly complied because my wife really wanted to go. To my surprise the wonderful team explained everything before we started, answered every question in detail, helped us step by step into the water and onto the platform. They made it seem so effortless and pleasant. We saw the manta rays and it was an absolutely memorable and life changing experience. But in addition to that, the crew were with us giving us fun facts in the funniest and most entertaining way possible. I was so close to just not to book this experience, and then again not to jump in at first but I’m so glad I had such a wonderful and encouraging crew to help us through it. They really made the experience so much more memorable and my only regret is that I didn’t bring more cash to tip them.

MAGICAL - This was a magical experience!!! I’ll admit I was nervous and if you get seasick easily maybe bring your Dramamine… but definitely do not miss this!!!

Once in a lifetime experience - One of the best adventures we’ve ever experienced. The captain and crew made the experience seamless. They explained each step of the experience, made everyone feel safe and catered to any specific needs. Please do yourself a favor and book this experience.

Breathtaking and life changing - Truly a life changing experience. Snorkeling with the mantas was such a breathtaking experience that I will never forget. I knew, and expected this to be a larger boat - it was a double decker boat with probably 40 passengers, 2 guides and the captain. I think everyone alleviated the provision of wet suit tops, after sundown the water can feel cold quickly.
After arriving at the manta snorkel site, the crew puts the light boards in the water and everyone gets in the water. Each person holds onto the boards, shoulder to shoulder while the crew distribute pool noodles to keep everyone’s feet afloat. Unfortunately, I had to share a noodle, which ended up being taken by my noodle partner midway through the experience. The crew didn’t notice until the final minutes of being in the water. Luckily, I’m a good snorkeler and for the most part was able to keep my legs at the surface. Another note - is that the passengers are of all different snorkeling/swimming abilities- something to keep in mind about your potential neighbor when you line up to get in the water.
Our lights attracted half a dozen or more mantas, which spent the entire hour doing barrel rolls and swimming beneath the lights, catching plankton. They would often harmlessly bump into the snorkelers.

Don't recommend; safety is not a priority with this operator. - This wasn't remotely safe. The three young people running this tour had no lights available or any concern for people getting on the boat. I ended up with a concussion and pretty bad lacerations which are impacting my vacations
