- Museo de Arte Latinoamericano de Buenos Aires - The Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires, MALBA, was founded in September 2001 with the objective of collecting, preserving, studying and disseminating Latin American art from the beginning of the 20th century to the present. It is a private non-profit institution that preserves and exhibits a heritage of approximately 400 works by the main modern and contemporary artists of the region. It combines a calendar of temporary exhibitions, with the stable exhibition of its institutional collection, and simultaneously works as a plural space for the production of cultural and educational activities. It offers film, literature and design cycles and carries out an educational task through programs aimed at different types of audiences. In 2007, the MALBA was declared a Site of Cultural Interest by the Legislature of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.

Really fun and interesting day at art museums! - So happy with our art museum tour. Tour guide was really friendly and knowledgeable about the art, history, and culture of Argentina. She gave us some tips on places to eat/visit and dropped us off in a great shopping area where we had a fantastic lunch. She also gave us tips on getting back to our hotel. I am so happy with the tour and would definitely book again. The bus driver was also fantastic and very helpful with our wheelchair. Thanks again!!

Great Tour of Buenos Aires Art - We had an awesome time going to the art museums of Buenos Aires! Our tour guide, Julia, was great in explaining how art reflects the history of Argentina. We went to three museums which were all wonderful and completely different, Museo National de Bellas Artes, Boca with the great art of Martin, and the MALBA. We had the opportunity to ask questions of someone well-versed in art of all types as she told us about the city we travelled through. Three hours is not much time to see the three galleries, but we were able to see and learn a lot.
