From Bangalow, the tour weaves through the beautiful Byron hinterland and the many historical unspoilt hinterland towns that are sprinkled throughout the countryside.

Experience the pristine beauty of the UNESCO-enlisted Nightcap National Park. Embark on a guided tour through the rainforest leading up to the stunning Minyon Falls. Travel through numerous untouched hinterland villages scattered across the region.

Pick up at 0750hrs sharp (NSW! not QLD time) from the Byron Visitor Information Center at 80 Jonson Street, Byron Bay, NSW 2481 (it’s a yellow cottage style building just behind the main bus stop). Please wait on or in front of the veranda.

Fabulous memorable tour! - This wonderful tour to the Minyon Falls was a highlight of our 39 Day Australia tour. Our guide, Geoff was very knowledgeable and made us a delicious lunch after. Swimming under the waterfall is amazing!
We highly recommend this tour!

14/02/24 - I went on this tour (14/02/24) and received top quality service. Jeff was knowledgeable and very accommodating as I wasn’t the best swimmer or rock climber! He cooked all of us a bbq for lunch which was also delicious. A thoroughly enjoyed day!

Amazing hike to the Waterfalls - Amazing hike to the waterfall followed by a swim. The hike was a bit of an adventure and required some rock climbing, but was fun and totally worth it.
Bbq lunch was also very good.

Highly Recommended! - Highly recommended! We were alone on the tour and our guide Jeff gave us lots of information about the country and its people and his pleasant manner gave us a great day! The waterfall was breathtaking and the homemade burgers were delicious.

Lovely time - Had a lovely time! Tom, our guide, shared his knowledge of the rainforest, Byron bay and australia in general. The hike to minyon falls and back was great; it does require a level of fitness (it does involve a little bit of scrambling towards the falls as well) but Tom helped guide us through safely and patiently. Minyon was dry so Tom took us to Whian whian falls for a swim which was magical. The lunch prepared was great in peaceful and lovely surroundings in Bangalow.
