See a Platypus in the Wild...... Tick! - Amazing experience for nature lovers. Informative tour guide who was just lovely, she has invested a lot of time finding locations that ensure a high spotting rate and on the day we saw 3 - 4 multiple times. For photographers highly recommend taking more video than photos - the morning light conditions, distance and speed with which they appear and disappear makes getting a good clear shot challenging even for top-tier equipment. Regret not simply taking more footage. Breakfast afterwards was a good and healthy start to the day.

Platypus spotted! - I absolutely loved this tour and would do it again. It was the first time that I had seen a platypus in the wild and I was not disappointed! Our group was lucky enough to spot not one, but six individuals! It was an easy and pretty walk in a surprising location. Tom was a wonderful guide and I learned a few new facts about these amazing creatures. I now know what to look for to spot a platypus in the wild.

A great morning out, life goal complete - This was one of the highlights of our trip. Wendy took us out and gave us a great rundown of the area and how it's been affected by the recent floods, the platypus habitat and their natures. We got to see two swimming and foraging and it was just amazing to see them in the wild, and guided by someone with an obvious passion for what she does. Also a lovely little breakfast provided and a wander to look for koalas. We are local tourists from NSW but have never got the chance to see them up close in their natural state. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Fantastic bucket list experience - Wendy was amazing, so knowledgeable on all things platypus related. She took us to a few of her favourite "platy" spotting places where we did indeed get a couple of sightings. On hearing of my friends wish to see a Koala in the wild Wendy offered to take to us to a place nearby where we would be guaranteed to see koalas and we definitely did. Breakfast was delicious with a great variety to choose from and freshly brewed coffee. I highly recommend this tour!

Interesting wildlife experience - Booked this tour last minute after Bluesfest was cancelled. Wendy picked us up early for our tour. She was super friendly and knowledgeable, giving us information and answering our questions about platypus on the drive there. Arrived at our surprisingly urban but picturesque destination. We spotted our first platypus within minutes of arrival. Wendy knows what to look for and has binoculars you can use if you need. The walk was easy on a solid path, enclosed shoes such as joggers/runners are adequate. We saw another platypus in the next pond along and had fun looking along the creek system. Once we determined the platypuses had gone back to bed we had a yummy breakfast with locally sourced produce. Really happy we went.

Wild platypus and a great guide - Such a fantastic time! We had one brief glimpse of a platypus the first time we went out, and Wendy very kindly volunteered to take us out again the next day, where we saw multiple, platypus over 45 minutes and got some lovely shots. Really happy with the experience, and Wendy's infectious enthusiasm made it that much more fun.

Too much awesomeness for words - Seeing several platypus!!! Wendy was an absolute delight and well informed. Great information and so knowledgeable. Walk was quite easy, pleasant and Wendy even moved it due to heavy rains without us contacting her (she must be psychic). We loved Wendy's passion, history and dedication and will be looking to do the virtual night tours she explained to us.

Maybe next time - It was a rainy morning. There were a few platypuses according to others in the group although I missed them! Still a great walk.
