Cahuita National Park - You will meet our guide at the entrance of the National park, then our guide will walk you to the counter where you have to do the check in and give a donation to the park. After that our guide will start looking for all the beauty things to show you. You will have time to ask questions or make pictures along the trail.
The Cahuita National Park has the largest reef in Costa Rica, and is home to numerous marine and bird species. There are monkeys, sloths, squirrels, snakes, and frogs here -
and many other wild animals! You will explore all the beauties by walking in between forest and beach, right next to the Caribbean Sea!
At the end of the walk you can choose between walk back with the guide or stay at the beach.
This tour will not last more than 2hours.

Additional Information
The guide will greet you at the park’s entrance where you’ll need to check in at the desk and make a donation to the park. During this excursion, you’ll be able to appreciate the stunning landscape of the national park, inclusive of its plant and animal life. Our knowledgeable guide will highlight all the must-see spots for you. Upon completing the stroll, you have the option to either return with the guide or remain in the park’s beach area. Please note, this isn’t a private expedition.

Fantastic tour - Our tour guide was Ariel and he did an amazing job. He was very knowledgable and found animals snakes and birds that we would’ve never seen. He patiently took the time while we took photographs. It was a wonderful way to spend the morning and a great way to finish off our time here in Puerto Viejo. I would absolutely recommend this tour.

Fantastic tour - Our guide named Ariel was amazing. He was prepared with his binoculars and telescope, and found things that we would’ve never seen. He clearly had a tremendous knowledge of the area and the creatures that live here. I would 100% recommend this tour.

This tour is a MUST for everyone - Our guide Ariel was so so good. He had ‘bionic eyes’ and literally spotted everything. We even saw one of the rarest and most beautiful Toucans on this side of Costa Rica. Without Ariel we would have seen nothing! Thank you so much

Very much worth it! - Ariel was amazing had a lot of knowledge and was able spot so many animals while taking us through the park. A lot of the animals are hard to spot and he proved it was all worth having a guide if you want to make the most of seeing a lot of animals on the walk throughout!

Highly recommended tour - Our guide was very skilled and attentive. He saw a lot of animals we would have never spotted and explained a little bit to each animal. He was also fun to be around. We would highly recommend a tour with him :)

Definitely recommend a guided tour to get the most out of a visit to the park - We were lucky and were the only two in the group. Ariel , our, guide was fantastic. We saw sloths, capuchin monkeys, fruit bats lizards and raccoons. We saw many other things as well but can’t remember the names. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. How spotted everything was amazing. I would highly recommend having a guide, especially Ariel,as we would never have spotted anything unless it jumped out in front of us.

Great Experience - Great experience. Our guide was excellent and pointed out so many things that we would not have even noticed. We saw sloths, monkeys, alligators, snakes, spiders and more. Also went swimming at Playa Blanca which was gorgeous. Highly recommend taking a tour with Caribe Autentico.

Very Fun experience! - Not only was our tour guide very friendly and accommodating but he was so knowledgeable and personable. We had a blast spotting the different animals and seeing a whole family of monkeys! Definitely recommend!
