Young social entrepreneur with a big dream - This experience was just out of this world, it was inspiring to see a young person finding ways to transform young kids lives , Buhle's way of teaching these young kids is something I wish I had growing up as we tend to watch something but never really understand the moral story of it all. Buhle does this for these kids! Huge thanks to Jason for facilitating this experience, something I would love to do every chance that I get.

Pop Up Cinema in Khayelitsha - Such an uplifting experience in Khayelitsha. Jason curated this unique day where we met Buhle and were welcomed into his mother's home where he grew up . His life story at 25 is so rich and filled with stories of his life's ups and downs! What an inspiration Buhle is and so community orientated. He gives selflessly to uplift the lives of the children and people in his community. All locals and foreign tourists would love this diverse experience. What a rewarding day! I even ate my first Amagwinya!

Feeling moved... GO GO GO! - The experience with Jason and Buhle was so incredible. Jason started by interviewing Buhle so we got a great sense of Buhle's journey and background, and understood better why he has chosen the life path of a social entrepreneur, hosting filming screenings for his local community in Khayelitsha. Then we got to ask follow up questions and just chat. We took a short walk over to the cinema venue which was a lovely leisurely stroll. We were so lucky to experience this on a weekend when the kids in the neighborhood were available! They were so excited to watch a film with us, and even more excited once they realized we bought snacks and candies for them, which was fun and adorable handing out to them <3 This is an off-the-beaten path, hidden gem that was made possible only with Side by Side's expertise in curating the few hours we spent, driving us through the busy streets, and making the whole thing feel extremely heartfelt and natural.
