Chichén Itzá Wonder - Great trip and excellent guides. Juan was entertaining and most knowledgeable - everything ran smoothly and although it was a long day, we enjoyed it all.

Amazing experience - We had an amazing day in Chichen Itza. We stopped for lunch first and got a chance to shop and learn about traditional Mayan cultural. Our schedule was changed to the cenote next as the queues in Chichen Itza were very long. The cenote was beautiful and so refreshing as it was such a hot day and a unique experience. Next was Chichen Itza which was amazing. It wasn’t crowded anymore and our guide was so good. I wish I remembered his name. He really made the tour a fantastic experience. It is very hot. And not much shade so definitely being a hat. The only downside I’d say is the day was made longer by poor punctuality from the rest of the group. At each stop there were delays despite being told by our guides to get back by a certain time. We started at 7am and it was after 9pm before we were back at our hotel and we were one of the first drop offs. Also after leaving the hotel in the morning we stopped at a big shopping area and had to go in there and pay the preservation tax. It was a little confusing as I had assumed the tour guide would be taking payment on bus. They said that cash was preferred as using a card would be dearer so I suggest bringing cash for that and other incidentals like drinks at the buffet and water at Chichen Itza. And also for rental of the life vests and lockers at the cenote which were $5 usd each. Definitely a must do experience if you haven’t been before!

Fantastic experience but a very long day travelling - Our tour guides were friendly and informative. My fiancé and I really enjoyed learning about Mayans on the journey. The lunch was really nice after a little walk around their shop, there were a few little moments of up-selling on the tour but it’s all optional, expected and there’s no pressure to purchase anything. Chichen Itza was great with a guide. Lots of helpful information and then time to walk around yourselves and take any photos you’d like. The stalls all over the place trying to sell things was an irritation but that’s not the fault of the tour operator by any means. The Cenote was a highlight, it was a bit of a shame that there are some small extra costs like hiring locker and life vests (which are compulsory anyways) but it was still a fantastic experience. Just make sure you bring extra cash for the day, also for things cold drinks. Valladolid was very nice to visit although we would’ve liked a little more time. You only have 30mins to walk round, look in any shops, grab a bite from the market which isn’t very long. The downside to journey was travel time unfortunately. The tour is described as 12hrs but we didn’t anticipate all the other hotel pickups on route, with us being one of the first. In total we must’ve spent 10hours on minibus/coach, which was extended through no fault of tour operator by a tyre that deflated on our coach and then the engine of the minibus we switched to giving up one stop from our hotel which meant an additional delay. So the reason for not giving five stars was transparency on additional costs albeit they were small, and transparency specifically on how you expect to travel dependent on your resorts location for pickup so you can plan and be mentally prepared for a journey. However all the experiences were as described and we got out of the trip what we wanted which was good. I’m sure we will only remember the great memories and forget about the very long hours travelling in years to come.

Disappointed - Our experience was a bad one ! We were rush the entire time and we spend more time traveling to places to change transportation and pick up more people. We got pick up 7:30am and drop off at 11.45pm We spent 1:30 min in Chichén Itzá, 20min in the Cenote and 20 and Valladolid!! The places are amazing we just wish we had more time to experience it !!
