Great snorkelling experience - The crew, Teyes and Geraldo, made the trip memorable. They were fun, funny and very engaging and helpful. Reyes was very knowledgeable and pointing out the sea life.

Great snorkeling experience - We had such a great time. Communication was great and we found our meeting point quickly and easily. There was 8 of us total on our boat with a crew of 3. The snorkeling was fabulous and the last stop at El Cielo with fresh guacamole, chips and plenty of whatever we wanted to drink. We were never denied a beer or water on our trip. I would highly recommend this excursion. Zach and Jill we had a blast with you. They also took lots of photos and give you the option to purchase. They air dropped them immediately to my husband's phone. They were so worth the $30

Great snorkeling, easy excursion! - Really great experience- boat ride was nice, two great snorkel spots- saw rays, turtles, a lobster, and so many fish at Colombia and Playancar reefs, the starfish at El Cielo we’re amazing. Third stop at the sandbar at El Cielito to relax and swim and we were surrounded by swimming rays- it was amazing! Pretty crowded at first snorkel stop- would’ve liked a little more time there to explore, but otherwise a wonderful experience overall! Having pick up and drop off at our hotel was such a bonus too- made it so easy

Good experience in spite of communication challenges - Great snorkeling, but the crew spoke very little English and gave all instructions in Spanish. The crew was friendly, though and were very accommodating of my spouses wheelchair.

The picking up and... - The picking up and checking in process was not the best. The communication at the end of the day by the boat crew was also lacking. If we had had more time I’m sure it would have been a fulfilling experience.

TERRIBLE - read this before you book - Very disappointed - terrible experience. We had done this same excursion approximately a year ago and it was fabulous, sadly the operator was no longer in business, so we chose Cozumel Island Excursions this time...this time the trip was just BAD. The MEET-UP: The guide promised to meet us at a certain location wearing a blue shirt, no one was there within the designated timeframe, so we wandered around for over 30 minutes and finally found someone, with no blue shirt, who was a completely different person. Not a huge deal, but just frustrating, we got on our way, and all was good. The BOAT: We get to the boat ramp area and get directed to our boat. The tour description reads: "Rated the #1 Snorkel tour operator in Cozumel for many years. What makes our snorkel tours unique, is the fact that we only provide small group tours for our guests. Allowing for a more personalized experience. We place around 12 snorkel guests in our snorkel boats that can fit 18 comfortably." That is some crazy BS, we were put on a teeny-tiny, old, rickety boat with at least 18 people and it was NOT COMFORTABLE. We were packed in, with no room for moving, let alone comfort. None of the 2 guides spoke English, they spoke entirely in Spanish the entire time, we asked if they spoke English and were told no. The other guests on the boat spoke Spanish so we got translations from them. The boat engine cut off numerous times and stalled, the boat was so small it felt like it would tip over each time we crashed over the waves, and the water was quite choppy which didn't help. We were completely SOAKED within 5 minutes, we all started wearing our snorkel goggles in order to see and keep the salt water out of our eyes...there was no shelter from it and no dry area or storage to store anything. By the time we arrived at our first spot everything was drenched, towels, phones, cameras and there was about a foot of standing water in the boat. My phone got ruined and I was told there was nothing they could do. 2 different people threw up, 1 overboard and 1 threw up right in the middle of the boat where they stored the extra life vests, and neither guide even attempted to clean it up, so gross! The SNORKELING: The water was super choppy, nothing you could do about that, but it made it difficult to get back on the boat. When we were in the water, since the guide only spoke Spanish, we had no idea what was going on, he kept yelling stuff, but we had no clue what was going on, so we just followed along as best we could. It was very disorganized and very hard to follow. The SNACKS & DRINKS: There was no bottled water provided until the very end, we asked and they told us not until the end. When we arrived at El Cielito we were supposed to have ceviche, fresh fruit, guac and chips, we only got guac and chips. They had a whole crate of fruit but didn't provide it, someone asked for some pineapple and was told no. There was no cerviche which we were all looking forward to. The guac and chips were good though, but had I seen the unsanitary way the guide made the guac, BEFORE I ate it I would not have eaten it, but we survived. The CONCLUSION: I would never do this again with this company and I would not recommend it, this was not worth any amount of money for the terrible trip we had. They seriously need to edit their tour description because it is not what they describe it to be and their boat should be put out to pasture. Don't offer English-speaking guides if there are none and advise a waterproof bag is required so your phone doesn't get ruined like mine did.

A complete waste of time!!!! - Sorry to say this tour was so much less than advertised and much much less than we personally expected. From the cluster puck at the pier meeting point to the all too small boat with really no way to get into the water as well as the helter skelter manner that the entire Viator team showed. Do another tour this one need to grow up a lot!!!!!
