Humantay Lake - Our Excursion begins with the pickup collection from your hotel about 04:30 am to 05:00 am.
Then we continue our journey in a private transport to the town of Mollepata famous for the Avocado Production in the area. Once we arrive there we will have a delicious breakfast and then continue to Soraypampa base camp (3900 m.a.s.l / 17.960 ft), from where hike begins for an hour and 45 minutes approximately to reach the Humantay Lake, surrounded by glaciers.
When we reach Humantay we will enjoy the beautiful turquoise lagoon. There you will take the best photos.
Then we will descend to Soraypampa to have lunch later in the afternoon we will return to Cusco by our Private transport.

Fantastic! - The tour was incredible! It was fantastic to have Ronald there to guide us on this challenging hike. He did a fantastic job of helping out entire group feel comfortable and capable of accomplishing this trek.

Amazing experience - The view was breathtaking, and our guides Ronald and Ruth made sure we were alright at every step of the way. I opted to take a mule up due to altitude sickness, but I'd love to do the hike with this operator again sometime! They were knowledgeable, friendly, and really fun!

Great experience - It was a great experience. Everyone was super helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. The lake was stunning and I was very happy to have hiking poles especially on the way down.

Highly Recommended - Challenging But Rewarding - Highly recommend this challenging but rewarding hiking experience! From start to finish, you get all the support and information you need to reach the beautiful Humantay Lake, and take in all the stunning views along the way. Horses/mules were available to ride up (not back down) for anyone concerned with battling the altitude, etc. Everyone in our group found this journey to be absolutely worth it!

Difficult but Worth It - Humantay lake hike was a difficult but rewarding experience. Juan Carlos was our guide and was FANTASTIC. He supported us physically and mentally up the mountain and gave us tips on adjusting to the altitude as we went. He also provided a deep cultural lesson and taught us about the history and geography of the area throughout our tour. The views at the top of the mountain were worth the hike!!

Juan Carlos and Humantay Lake - Humantay Lake is a difficult hike but Juan Carlos provided an excellent experience! Would certainly recommend his tour to anyone interested.

Amazing experience with Crossover Peru - Juan Carlos, Pedro (our driver), and the whole Crossover Peru team that put together the hiking day are incredible. We were well taken care of from door to door and every meal and stop in between. The hike, led by Juan Carlos, was informative and at the perfect pace for all of us. We did a gratitude ceremony and learned more about the mountains and the lake, and the Inca trail. The team made the day extra special.

great experience! - As a beginner hiker I was so excited and a little scared for this but felt so proud in the end. It’s a beautiful lake, there were people doing the hike and horses available to others who may think they’ll struggle. Our tour guide JuanCarlos with u30x was excellent, super knowledgeable! He talked about the lake, the history, the mountains, even took pictures of us in the best spots he knew! He was so kind and helpful guiding us during the hike up and down, great conversations, very patient with us the whole time. It was a beautiful day, unforgettable experience, thank you JuanCarlos for being our guide!

Incredible tour! A must if visiting Cusco - What an incredible experience we had with our amazing tour guide Luz!
This was definitely a hard and intense hike but we did it. Our tour guide met up with us prior to the day of the tour to give us more information and to give us tips and what to expect. The hike was tough but Luz was very encouraging every step of the way, she was constantly checking on us to make sure we were okay. She had supplemental oxygen in case we needed it and also had her own "magic potions" as she would call it to help with the altitude.
This is definitely a must when visiting Cusco!

Unforgettable trip - Great hike, breathtaking views of the mountains to a beautiful alpine lake. Guide was extremely knowledgeable about the history, geology, and culture of the area truly an experience I’ll never forget.
