Worth the effort/great experience - The Buenas Aires Falls and the last thermal pool are awesome. The lunch was delicious and they were able to serve a vegetarian gluten free (and dairy free) option. Our guide, Pablo, was great. He was able to point out different tree types and what makes the rain forest in Costa Rica unique. We did not see that much wildlife but Pablo did find 2 eyelash vipers and a lizard. We heard toucans and one in our group spotted one at the house. We had a large group at 15 people that they were able to accommodate. However some of the kids were young. Be prepared that the trails to the falls were a bit too hard for the younger kids - recommend for 8 and older. The guides offered to break our group into two and that worked for us. They were extremely accommodating and took one part of the group back to the hotel earlier than the other. Overall the staff is very helpful. Tips - you need good walking shoes AND water shoes. You need a towel on the walk. You need water on the walk which they did not provide but stopped and let us buy on the way from the hotel. The drive from the JW Marriott is 3 hours, windy and bumpy and not great for those with motion sickness.

Sensoria Tour - Paulo and Luis were excellent tour guides for our trip to Sensoria. The explained what we were seeing and told us so much about the plants and animals found in the rainforest. They were very patient with our group and so kind. The love and respect they have for the rainforest was clear. We couldn’t have asked for better guides. We can’t say enough about them and the experience. Thank you so much Pablo and Luis!!!

Amazing tour with Pablo - This tour with Pablo was amazing. He made sure we had everything we needed beforehand and even took us to a store to buy towels and extra clothes if we didn't have and also stopped by a merchant to buy coconuts since we wanted. He told us so much about Costa Rica as a country and it's culture. Very friendly very knowledgeable tour guide. Once we arrived at the location he took us on the long tour (there are 2 the long one and short one) at our request and even made sure multiple times with our group if we were ok during the hike. He did not rush us at all, helped us maneuver around tricky spots, told us all about the plants and animals native to Costa Rica (we saw a snake, capybara, toucans and whole lot of interesting plants). He took us to all the photo op spots and took beautiful pictures of us and he let us take our time in the pools and the waterfalls again offering to take a bunch of pictures. For our break he gave us delicious fruit and we had great conversation and back at the beginning we had a delicious meal. 100% recommend this your and especially Pablo.

Love the Rainforest - This place was magical. This was my first trip to Costa Rica with my mom and my two sisters. This is a bucket list place to check out. I will try to make this a short review but it’s so hard to make it short. We were greeted by Joaquin Matarrita our guide and an ice cold glass of juice before he told us what to expect on this trip. I highly recommend a walking stick or sticks . It has lots of steps and it had just rained before we got there but then the sun came out for us. My mom is 80 years old and she did this tour with us. I was so proud of her with all the steps she had to take she loved it. Joaquin was so knowledgeable and professional. He spoke English very well and answered all of our questions and was very patient with us. After the tour we got to choose a meal which we chose the local dish of chicken and rice with a wonderful fruit smoothie that filled our tummies. I hope you get to see this fabulous place. Thank you Joaquin! Jen from Texas;)

MAGICAL - I have visited many places around Costa Rica, but this is simply magical. The thermal waters are absolutely beautiful, the rainforest is full of flora and fauna all around. You NEED to visit Sensoria!

Magical Forest - Absolutely beautiful and untouched forest. We took the tour and our tour guide was excellent - very knowledgeable about the animals and plants surrounding us, and also great at spotting animals that we never would have seen. We saw poisonous snakes, beautiful hummingbirds, and a colony of army ants hard at work. The pools were shockingly blue, even though it was raining a bit that day. And the food was great. A highlight of our trip to Costa Rica. My one piece of advice - bring rain gear! It might be raining up the mountain even if it isn't in other parts of the country!
