1:00 pm - 1:30 pm: Get ready to be picked up at your hotel by our guide, for a journey to My Son Sanctuary, recognized as a World Cultural Heritage site.
3:00 pm: We reach My Son, where you will get 2 hours to explore the place on foot while gaining insights from our local English-speaking guide and appreciating the Champa’s traditional performances.
5:15 pm: We return to the mini-van and move towards the pier to commence a relaxing boat trip towards Hoi An, while enjoying the refreshing breeze and picturesque sunset over the Central Vietnam’s largest river, the Thu Bon River. Don’t forget to capture the fascinating activities of the locals along the river!
6:30 pm : Upon arrival at Hoi An, we will facilitate your drop at the hotel. That’s where the tour concludes!

Knowledgeable guide and tour that brings us back in time into Champa history - Great half day small group tour with our friendly & energetic guide Michael. Included in this was a visit to a rice paper factory to personally experience rice paper making and also a sumptuous local Vietnamese lunch, ending with a 20min boat ride along the river.
My Son was a good insight into buildings from the 4th century onwards and Michael explained the history well; helping us to visualise what it was at that time; and managed to move us through the massive crowds safely and expeditiously.
April weather is hot - so do ensure adequate sun protection and lots of hydration.

Informative tour - Great tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the Champa Kingdom and the history of My Son. We enjoyed the performance by the Cham dance troupe and the boat ride as well.

Fun day at My Son - We just had the best day with Michael as our guide. He is extremely knowledgeable with a great sense of humour. Our lunch was delicious. Michael speaks very good english also. We highly recommend him

Beautiful afternoon trip to My Son - This was an afternoon tour and I think was the better time of the day to go due to the heat. Pick up from our hotel was on time and during the trip to My Son, the guide was able to give us some information about the area. It was very well organised when we arrived and saw everything we needed to see. On the back we stopped at the bakery for a bun and then a sunset cruise on the river. Overall great value for money.

Beautiful visit to My Son Sanctuary - I booked in to visit the My Son sanctuary and I had Hau as a tour guide. The overall experience was great and I loved every moment of it. Hau was very attentive and look after all of us. Really recommend visiting My Son. A beautiful experience!

Must see when you visit Hoi An - The My Son sanctuary trip was definitely worth going! With door-to-door pickup and dropoff, great guide (Luan, the handsome Lung) and safe driver, beautiful historic structures, nice cultural show, good lunch and a relaxing boat ride. My family did the morning tour instead of the sunset one so it was a bit hot, but other than that it was a super good experience, good value for money and I’d recommend going if you visit Hoi An. Be sure to join Venus Travel.

Great tour, amazing guide - Great tour and great tour guide. Handsome Lung was very informative and runs a good tour. The sunset cruise on the water was an added bonus and the banh mi was from a well-reputable safe to eat bakery and delicious
