AZIENDA AGRICOLA VILLA I CIPRESSI - The farm started to produce honey of various flavors about 30 years ago. Later in the nineties they began to plant vineyards and some olive trees. The farm produces now Brunello di Montalcino, Rosso di Montalcino, Grappa di Brunello, extra virgin olive oil and honey. The passion for nature and the strong ecological mind have pushed them to use only photovoltaic energy, and to produce only with the principles of organic agriculture.
Villa i Cipressi started to produce Brunello di Montalcino and Rosso di Montalcino in the year 2000. The winery has 3.5 hectares of Sangiovese vines at two locations. The two vineyards, distinct in soil and in microclimate, allow for a blend which enriches the quality of the wine. The estate produces Brunello di Montalcino, Rosso di Montalcino and a selection line called ZEBRAS, which is produced and marketed only in the best years. The Zebras is a selection of the best grapes from the best vineyard and ages 6 months more than the regular vintage Brunello.
