Beginning at Largo do Miranda, we kick off our tour with a stunning, sweeping view of Funchal and Desertas Islands. We then make our way up to Pico do Arieiro, standing 1818 mts high, where breathtaking vistas of Ponta de São Lourenço, Ribeiro Frio, Paúl da Serra, Curral das Freiras, and even Porto Santo stretch out before us. Moving on, we head for Santo da Serra, where a thrilling open-roof, off road journey amidst endemic and introduced forest awaits us. On our southward journey back to Madeira’s coast, we make our way to Santa Cruz, passing through sweeping terrains of local farmland and arresting lookout points. Here, one gets to experience firsthand how traditional Madeiran farmers live and work, managing steep slopes to cultivate their crops. To round off the tour, we pause at arguably the most renowned lookout point on the island, Cristo Rei.
