Pyramids light show - The show was so well done ! Majestic sound, great lighting effects - well worth attending. Our guide was Ahmed Alim and, like everyone from Nilecruisers, he was great. Knowledgeable ,professional and a pleasure to be with!

Not to be missed - You can’t miss this! Stunning light show - don’t be put off by rubbish in Giza, the Pyramids and show are clean and watch out for staff taking photos-they’ll want a tip but they do take great photos so worth it. Sit in front row and pay extra.

Well worth the time and cost - Nice show while the sound could be improved a little. The pickup and drop-off went seamlessly. The tour guide even hung around with us for a little bit after the show giving us some extra information on the history of Giza and Egypt.

First views of Pyramids & Sphinx- very cool. - We booked a tour to the Sphinx & Pyramids Sound and Light show with Egypt Tours Club with our travel agent. The tour included transportation from hotel via private car, and guide to get us into the show. Actual show tix are extra, but you can probably find one where they are included. Part of the fun of this was the drive to and from our hotel. We had heard that the show was quite dated, long, and sort of corny. Yes, all true. But...it was our first view of these fantastic monuments, and from that standpoint, it did not disappoint. If it is the busy season, get there early for a good seat.

Exceptional experience - This show is a must visit to complete your experience of the Pyramids of Giza. The show is a bit old fashioned though but still the lit up Giza plato under the night sky is sensational. Also our guide Noor is a wonderful person and had a great time in the evening overall.

A disappointment - The sound quality was not good from at least two loudspeakers. Cars with headlights on continue to move along the road distracting from the scene. The lights are dull and unimpressive. The script and delivery of the text is excellent.

Unprofessional company, yelling and disrespectful conversation in the car - This experience is not worth the money that we paid for. First of all, I requested to be picked up on the way to the light show between my hotel and the light show. They told me that they would charge me a 20$ US more just to be picked up on the way to the show rather than being picked up at my hotel. Unacceptable. When I was picked up finally after arguing on the phone with the tour operator for over 30 minutes, he came and picked me up at the destination I told him I was at. When I got into the car, the tour operator guy (see photo attached) started telling at me exclaiming how, because of me, we are going to be late to the show (which we ended up not being at all) and how it was ridiculous on my part to request such a modification at this time (I requested this 2hrs before the show). I respond by telling him that I could be picked up on the side of the road no problem if being picked up where I was was SUCH a problem (I even told him I could have taken a taxi to go on the side of the autoroute to be picked up) IF he really wished to not be late for his own self. I was with my friend during the time of the call with the provider to rearrange the pick up. My friend is a tour operator himself and said that the 20$ surcharge is a ridiculous surcharge. AND this was a private ride therefore, it did not matter to me or my grandfather if we missed 5 minutes of the show due to this pick up modification. While almost yelling back at the tour operator when I just get into the car, he became silent after realizing I was getting mad. His reviews and his image meant more than arguing with me I believe. On top of this, the driver drove like a maniac across town because we were going to miss 5 minutes of the show. This was too much. On top of this, during the whole ride, the driver was looking at me with flirtatious eyes. He took the chance of writing on Google Translate, while driving, that he found me beautiful, had been eyeing me all night, and asked for my number. I found this extremely unprofessional and did not appreciate this. As I walked out of the car with my grandfather at the end of the night, disgusted by this driver and what had happened all night with the tour operator, the driver asks that I give him a tip. I obviously denied and left. I was extremely uncomfortable with everything that happened. This was by far one of the worst experiences I've had in Egypt and I do not recommend at all. The lack of professionalism this company has is outstanding.

Very disappointed!! - On our last night in Egypt, we decided to go to the Pyramids light show. It was so lame! You can tell it hasn’t been updated for 60 years Other than the pyramids changing colours, they don’t play any other part Definitely recommend getting their early if your not buying VIP tickets.

Disappointed. - We had a great expectation about it. It’s such an incredible place on earth that is almost impossible to think in a mediocre show. The story is boring as the old voice of the narrator. The sound it’s bad with external interference and there’s no light show.

Very disappointed - That was really underwhelming. The history dialogue was interesting but I guess I was expecting fabulous light show. All we got was a 1950s voice giving us an account of the history of the pyramids with very subdued lighting.
