Khafre’s Pyramid - The complex of Khafre’s pyramid includes a valley temple, the Sphinx temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple is notable for the statues of Khafre discovered by Mariette in 1860.

Menkaure Pyramid - Menkaure’s pyramid complex features a valley temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple once housed several statues of Menkaure, and during the 5th Dynasty, a smaller ante-temple was added.

It features over 250,000 genuine artifacts, some dating back 5,000 years, including a special exhibit of Tutankhamun’s treasures, gold, and jewelry, which were buried for over 3,500 years before their discovery in the 1920s.

Khan Al-Khalili - Visit the Khan El Khalili Bazaar, renowned for its shops selling fine brassware, copper, perfumes, leather, silver, gold, antiques, and more. At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Day Tour to Alexandria from Cairo

Alexandria - After breakfast at the hotel, depart at 7:00 am for Alexandria in a modern A/C vehicle. Upon arrival, begin your tour with a visit to the Roman Theater, featuring marble seats for up to 800 spectators, galleries, mosaic flooring, and a pleasure garden surrounded by Roman villas and baths. Next, visit Pompey’s Pillar, followed by the Catacombs of Kom El-Shoqafa, which include the Triclinium, where relatives feasted the dead, and statues of Sobec and Anubis in Roman armor.

Pompey’s Pillar - Pompey’s Pillar is a Roman triumphal column in Alexandria, erected in honor of Emperor Diocletian between 298-302 AD. The Corinthian column originally supported a colossal statue of the emperor in armor and stands beside the ruins of the Serapeum of Alexandria.

Fort Qaitbey - View the Qaytbay Citadel and El Mursi Abu Elabas from the outside, and enjoy a leisurely walk along the Corniche.
