Small group E Bike tour of Chianti - Alberto did an excellent job. He did a great job of instructing us how to ride the E Bikes, set up a tour of an Abbey and a wine tasting. The views are beautiful. I would caution that you should be in reasonable physical condition and be comfortable with your ability to ride a bike over variable terrain to consider this tour. The roads you will be on are mostly hills, some fairly steep.

Amazing!! Would recommend! - The whole experience was amazing!! Traveling on e-bike made is that much easier!! It will be a tour we remember forever! The views are breath taking! The wine tasting and food were fantastic! I would say that this tour is a must!

E-bike thru Tuscany - best day of our 12 day Italy trip - the Tuscany views from the bike were amazing so was the Abby tour and wine tasting/lunch! Alberto very helpful getting us old folks (over 65) comfortable on the bikes and so fun to be with!

Our tour guide, Alberto,... - Our tour guide, Alberto, skillfully explained how to navigate the e-bikes up and down the scenic Tuscan roads. Our visit to a historic abbey and local winery meeting the monks and winemakers were trip highlights. Perfect experience for our Italy trip.

Not To Be Missed - Electric bike trip around Greve in Chianti. A special day spent with Alberto, Eleonora and Alessandro, biking, sightseeing , eating and drinking wine. Don’t stress the biking as the e-bike will take you uphills with little effort. Just a fantastic experience all around and a major highlight of our trip.

Sporty Chianti bike tour on excellent ebikes - Great 1:1 Chianti bike tour during a business visit. We visited an Abbey and were biking on safe roads with marvellous views. Also, the lunch was an excellent and pleasant experience. For ladies, I recommend to request soft saddles.

Return to paradise of Chianti after lockdown - After three months of hard work in the hospital I didn't think I would be able to pedal through the Tuscan hills. It was an exceptional experience for the complete immersion of the senses in the paradise of Chianti. I am extremely grateful to Alberto for his ability to put everyone at ease. The ride is also possible without training and at the beauty of the landscape gives everyone the strength to continue cycling

A ride with a view :) - I'm so happy we chose an E-bike tour in the Chianti Tuscany area. And especially happy that we chose a tour with Tuscany Quintessence. Alberto was the best guide! And free transportation from Florence was also a plus. Saw lots of picturesque views, just what we were hoping for. And the little historical stops along the way was great! It was a little bit of a bumpy ride on the bike sometimes but not bad. This was the best way to see Tuscany! Don't do it sitting on a tour bus or in a car! You will not be disappointed touring it with Alberto!

An off the beaten track experience that was the highlight of our trip to Tuscany - My partner and I are in our late 20s/early 30s, love the outdoors, and wanted a unique experience for our first trip to the Tuscany region - not your typical wineries or bike tour. Tuscany Quintessence is exactly the outdoorsy, off-the-beaten-path experience we were looking for, and a refreshing change of pace from the typical tourist offerings you see for this area. From the get go, the communication and customer service were great, as Alberto helpfully explained the differences between each tour as we were trying to decide which one we wanted to do. Pick up and drop off from Florence was also super easy. The mountain e-bikes themselves are super high quality, 21-speed, and a true equaliser for a tour like this - with multiple motor options, you could really push yourself as hard as you wanted to. Alberto took our small group on an awesome tour of local small towns and sights, explaining their unique history along the way and entertaining us with jokes. His genuine passion for the region he lives in truly shines through in his storytelling. The lunch was hands down the most incredible meal we ate during our week in Tuscany, and the memory of our group and Alberto sharing food and making jokes will be a treasured memory for years to come. At a local, family owned restaurant, overlooking a winery … I still salivate thinking about that black truffle pasta and tiramisu! I 1000% would recommend doing this tour if you are looking for a truly memorable and local experience. Grazie mille Alberto!
