- Ho Chi Minh City - We will pick you up from your hotel at 7:30 am. Following this, the journey will continue to Ben Tre Province, passing picturesque rice terraces en route. Before arriving at our final destination, there will be a brief halt for breakfast and/or restroom breaks.
- Ben Tre - Ben Tre is a delightful small town nestled in Vietnam’s Mekong Delta. Our journey will commence with a boat cruise on the Mekong River, leading us to a brick factory. Here, you’ll get a firsthand look at the age-old brick-making method that has been preserved for generations. Subsequently, we’ll explore a coconut farm, providing insights into local living and an up-close view of the coconut manufacturing process. Discover how various coconut-based products come to life and engage in the art of crafting sleeping mats alongside the locals. Following that, enjoy a tranquil rowboat journey through the region’s intricate coconut channels, embraced by verdant landscapes. Then, a bicycle ride meandering through scenic villages offers a prime opportunity to immerse oneself in the local culture and mingle with the warm-hearted inhabitants. Our adventure culminates with a hearty meal at a local residence, indulging in authentic Vietnamese cuisine crafted from fresh, indigenous ingredients.

A fun-filled day on the islands in the Mekong Delta - Really lovely tour guide named Bunny, who provided a lot of really interested information about the Mekong Delta area, and Vietnam as a whole. Very personable. The tour itself included visits to a pagoda, a coconut candy manufacturing house, seasonal tropical fruit with live traditional folk music, a short small boat excursion down a canal, and a very generously sized lunch. Recommend to all!

A bit of everything = amazing - Qui was an absolutely wonderful guide and took great care of us throughout a fascinating day - the combination of three boat rides, tuk tuk, and walking let us see so many places and vantage points. Lunch was incredible, delicious and generous amount of food, with plenty of snacks along the way. Such a special day. Highly recommend!

Terrific day trip and private - Excellent private day trip to the Mekong. Ni was an amazing guide. She spoke perfect English and explained everything in detail and with a great sense of humor! This tour avoided all the hustle and bustle of other tourists and was a nice escape from the busy streets of Ho Chi Minh. We learned about the local trades, brick making, coconut candy and matt making. We had two rides in a motorized boat and one by row boat as well as a tuk tuk. Lunch was delicious. Highly recommend this tour!

Great private Mekong day trip - Ni was a wonderful guide. She spoke perfect English and explained everything well. After driving out to Ben Tre we saw bricks being made and coconut candy being produced by local villagers. We had several rides along the river in both a motorized boat and a row boat. Lunch was delicious and the whole experience was very private and away from other tourists. Highly recommended.

Wonderful experience. - It was worthwhile paying extra for private tour.
We were guided to more scenic tranquil boat rides, skipped the queuing for connection boats. Hannah our guide is very informative. Generous portions for lunch for 2 people. Thank you Hannah and Vinh being so accommodating to our last minute request for shop and ATM machine. You both made our journey sweet and memorable.

Mekong delta private tour - We went with Le and he was absolutely amazing with our asd daughter and our neurodivergent children. He constantly made accommodations for us like moving us to quieter areas, making sure we were by ourselves on transport and engaging in a gentle way with our children that made us all feel safe and happy. The tour itself was great, the food fantastic and was not rushed at all. My daughter, who can be very hard to win over, felt safe with Le, so much so that she kept on asking where he was at lunch because she wanted him around. I would definitely recommend the tour and Le for groups with children.

I enthusiastically endorse this excursion! - It provided a peaceful break from the bustling city, and the trip was meticulously organized by the operator, who went above and beyond in catering to dietary restrictions by inquiring a day in advance, which I found to be very thoughtful. Our guide, Tu, displayed impressive knowledge, a friendly and outgoing demeanor, and a remarkable ability to foster a sense of inclusivity among our group. This truly made us all feel welcomed. In summary, the entire experience was outstanding and took us away from the typical tourist destinations! A perfect 10/10.

I enjoyed a wonderful day in the Mekong. - The heat was intense, but it only added to the experience. Our tour was filled with memorable moments, especially during the lengthy boat ride where we were treated to fresh fruits and delicious coconut juice. I particularly loved cycling through the village, which gave me a closer look at the local way of life. Lunch at a local home was an exceptional experience, allowing our group to savor genuine Vietnamese cuisine. All in all, it was a refreshing escape from the city hustle. I would wholeheartedly recommend it!

As advertised, this tour was refreshingly non-touristy and absolutely worth it! - From my experiences, this tour was notably less commercialized than others I've been on. Other tours took me to crowded stops en route to the main destination, packed with tourists, which I didn't appreciate. However, with this one, we got to relax in an authentic local cafe where there wasn't a tourist in sight - just our group. The coffee was delightful and affordably priced. Our tour guide spoke fluent English and was impressively knowledgeable. He kept us entertained with his wit, ensuring there wasn't a dull moment even on the long journey to the Mekong Delta. Activities like cycling and a visit to the brick factory were engaging, offering insights into the unique brick-making process.
I thoroughly enjoyed this tour and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to friends.
