John T. Alsop Jr. Bridge - The Main Street Bridge, officially the John T. Alsop Jr. Bridge, is a bridge crossing the St. Johns River in Jacksonville, Florida. It was the second bridge built across the river. It carries four lanes of traffic, and is signed as US 1/US 90. A lift bridge, it opened in July 1941 at a cost of $1.5 million

Sensational experience. - So we wound up staying in Jacksonville by accident. We took advantage of it and went on this tour. We seen some amazing sites and took lots of pictures. Our tour guide (Toni) was outstanding.

Don’t Miss Architectural and Historical Downtown - We had a wonderful tour. Our guide was a knowledgeable woman who cared very deeply about Jacksonville’s downtown, the architecture, its history and its people. We learned about all the changes that are proposed and happening to the riverfront. Riding in the TukTuk, similar to golf cart, gave us a closeup view to the buildings. Gives you insight and appreciation for what cities can do to help their downtown thrive again. 👏👏

Rainy trip to Jacksonville - The weather was iffy but our driver was great—very knowledgeable and all round good guy. Really enjoyed learning about Jacksonville—VERY different than what is was when I was a kid

Learned a lot about "downtown" Jacksonville. - It was an enjoyable and informative afternoon learning about "downtown" Jacksonville , its history, architecture, and potential future. Being a new resident to Jacksonvillle. It was a great way to learn what's downtown and what entertainment spots to enjoy. Most of our time to date has been along the south bank of the St. Johns River. It was great to get to know what's on the north bank. Tour guide was very informative and fun to be with while traveling around on a cold breezy day. Worth the time.
