Amazing! 10/10 - Sierra is a wonderful guide and the views on the kayak and hike are amazing! The waterfall was beautiful and the lunch was beautifully displayed! You will exercise on this tour! Get ready to paddle!! 10/10 :)

Incredible Adventure - A big Mahalo to Thomas, who was an awesome guide!! The kayak trip was just beautiful! Such lush scenery to behold. The hike up and down was very doable, but not easy by no means! You do cross over small rivers and streams at different points. I'm short and it came up to my upper calf. Also, there was mud from several rain systems so definitely wear good soled shoes. I was still able to make the trek with water shoes but I don't recommend for most. You do have to climb up and down rocks a little, but there is a lot of flat walking too. We almost expected a Jurassic Park dinosaur 🦕 to pop out at times! Lol! The waterfall is so beautiful and worth the trip! I suggest booking the early morning tour. Lunch was provided so beautifully by Thomas, and the sandwich was fresh and yummy! They provide plenty of ice cold water as well. You can swim in the waterfall so wear your bathing suit. We brought clen clothes to change into for the ride home which was good for removing our wet, muddy clothes. There is a bathroom at the shop before and after your trip, as well as at the spot where you put the canoe in the river. This was such a wonderful adventure! Do it!!

Beautiful scenery and great adventure - Absolutely stunning area. You start with a two mile kayak to the trailhead, and then the hike is about three miles round trip, you do have to kayak the 2 miles out but it’s so worth it. We had a great tour guide she stopped and would show us all the different/unique plants on the hike.

Worth the hike - Sierra was amazing! Helpful and patient. The hike was totally worth it. Sierra took care of us and gave us amazing memories! Highly recommend.

Great Guide and Adventure - A fun little adventure! The county had access to the waterfall closed due to flooding, so the company called us and offered a partial refund if we just wanted to do the kayak portion. We still had fun paddling up the Wailua and stopping on the shore for an early lunch. Our guide Thomas was laid back and fun and made sure we had a great time despite the closure.

Great adventure experience and guide - Our guide Sierra was great, fun, knowledgable and caring. Kayaking the Wailua river is always enjoyable. The pace was great and overall a wonderful experience.

The Best Kayak and Hike Adventure - We had the best time on this tour! Our guide was very knowledgeable and shared stories about the land with us. We were provided with the majority of all the necessities needed for the day.

Difficult, muddy hike! - The trail was much more difficult than the website said, and longer as well. There had been lots of rain and so the trail was very muddy. There are roots, rocks and rivers to traverse. My friend fell 3 times as a result. This is more than a leisure hike! Beautiful waterfall and the kayak was great. Our guide was also lively and helpful.
