A pleasant surprise - I had such a wonderful time on this tour! The islands were beautiful and the trail was forgiving, even for a person who hadn't been on a bike in years. Getting to see how silk is made was a true highlight. On top of that, I had the most lovely and attentive guide. Ted was very wonderful on this tour and made it easy and comfortable.

Outstanding tour & guide! - I absolutely loved my day with Ted! He was an incredibly kind and generous guide - he shared all kinds of interesting information and made the day fun and tailored to what I wanted to do. This is a super way to see the islands, do something a bit physical and learn about life in Phnom Penh.

An experience not to miss out on, when in Cambodia - I loved learning about the bean curd drying process and trying food from the local markets as well as the traditional Cambodian food for lunch. It was nice to relax in the hammocks by the water too. The whole ride was very enjoyable, providing excellent insight into Cambodian culture and our tour guide, Thong, was absolutely lovely and did an excellent job!

Amazing Tour - The tour was 20km if I recall correctly, but it flies by. There were some great views of the city from the river ferry. You get to see lots of farmland and small villages just across the Mekong. Little kids run out and say "Hi! Hi! Hi!" as the you ride by and some of the braver ones will give you high five you as you ride by, it's adorable. Tour guide was super friendly and hooked us up with some delicious fresh fruit at the half-way point. Definitely remember your sun tan lotion for this one!

A Perfect Morning - Our trip to the Mekong Island with Sovannary was nothing short of magical! He was a wealth of information and so patient with everyone. The cycling was easy enough, very little to no traffic to deal with and the bikes were in top notch condition. The ferry ride to begin our day was beautiful. Upon arrival we turned off the main road and headed into the local countryside. We learned about some of the staples of Cambodian cuisine, and even had the chance to taste some of their favorite fruits and cakes at our stop. The silk making process is fascinating and we were lucky enough to learn about it from a family who has been in the business for generations. It was a wonderful day full of education and beauty! A trip with Sovannary is a tirp you wont soon forget!

" Riders ,keep together on the well beaten path " - I " enjoyed " it ending .Only then could I be alone & truly experience Cambodia .When you are in a group of other foringers any spontaneous situations are not genuine or uncensored . But. , , if your too frightened to ride a bike solo then the only other option is this ,and its not free.

just rent bikes in phomn phen and take the ferry by yourself - - i asked the guide to confirm the meeting point one day before, never replied. Result : big confusion to start the day - nothing to see on the island apart from the same temples again -guide was only interested in making money : was always riding the bike ahead of me ( making me feel i was no fast enough), no interactions, no conversations, 0 interests in his clients .. super boring few good things - the sillk " farm " was cool and an excellent meal was provided at the end of the visit - we came accross the buddhist ceremony that i really liked but this was luck , cause it was hled only once a year . If you come on another day, you'll see nothing particular but too be honest its not worth the price
