Additional Information

Our associates from the Malaysian Peninsula are often astonished to learn that the inhabitants of Sabah also enjoy tea breaks and high tea. Instead of inviting our companions for a Yamcha (tea session), Sabahans would announce ‘Let’s have High-Tea’. The ritual of tea-drinking is certainly a part of our customs and it complements our peaceful way of life perfectly. Positioned 2,272 feet above sea level, the crops are completely free of pesticides as insects gravitate towards the 130-million-year-old rainforest that envelopes the plantation. Following on, make a visit to the World War II Memorial Site, locally referred to as Kundasang War Memorial. The air is perfumed with the aroma of roses and the tranquil ambiance renders the Kundasang War Memorial a suitable location for reflection and hallowed remembrance of the war heroes.

Very moving and interesting roadtrip in the mountains - We made a booking error and the tour operater went above and beyond to accommodate us...bravo to Edwin and our guide, Jeffrey. The tour itself is not cheap but you cover a lot of ground, see magnificent countryside, very moving war memorials and have a very tasty lunch at the tea plantation over looking a stunning valley. Thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend
