The panorama from the peak is unparalleled! The Burgar Forest remains the last untouched evergreen oak woodland located in the Mountain, complete with the El Burga spring where newts can be sighted! As we near the summit, there’s the age-old dilapidated farmhouse of Mata-redona, and from the most precipitous part, one can get an aerial view of the Delta! The challenging climb, indeed, pays off! Just make sure you’ve got water, a hat, and sunblock.
