The Algarve coast boasts numerous caves, yet the most renowned among them are those in Benagil - arguably, the most famous in all of Portugal. The well-known ‘Algar de Benagil’ - distinguished by its rooftop opening - is one of the most photographed and globally shared locations.
The solitary means of reaching Benagil’s caves is via water, as there are no footpaths leading to them. As such, one of the leading alternatives for exploring them is on a Stand Up Paddle board. This allows you to venture inside the caves, stroll along the unique beaches housed within them - something that would otherwise be impossible!
Departing from Benagil Beach for a two-hour escapade, we promise to provide an unforgettable experience you’ll cherish forever!

Sup my new hobby! - I was so lucky that I’m the only customer for todays session so I had private lesson as a total beginner of SUP. Shiko is a very very nice coach who encourages me to stand up and tell me all the tips for standing longer! I enjoyed so much with his teaching! He also helps me to take a lot pictures which is very nice for solo traveller. I totally recommend choose SUP to explore the cave.

AMAZING experience for anyone and I recommend private tour during July and August - Benagil Caves is magnificent and is worth the experience. This company provides guidance for inexperient or first-time paddlers. They also teach how to use the board and safety instructions. It will be a perfect first time for anyone and an amazing experience for those who know how to paddle. During July and August, I recommend doing a private tour early in the morning for a better experience. It is not very regulated and there are too many people in the water. You do not need to stand with you don't want, you can stay on your knees, I LOVE it

10/10 Best thing I’ve done in Portugal so far! - The SUP tour of the Benagil caves was amazing. We went earlier in the day (10 am) so there were smaller crowds and had only 4 people in our tour group. Our guide, Antonio, was fantastic- helpful, knowledgable, friendly, and spoke English & Portuguese. The caves are not to be missed, especially Paradise cave which cannot be easily accessed by the speed boats.

Memorable experience - The Benagil Sup tour was everything we could’ve asked for, our tour guide and teacher Diogo was next to none, with me and my girlfriend and 3 others as a small group of 5 he managed to keep all of us safe out in the water whilst also taking us to the most beautiful and hidden caves along the Algarve, would highly recommend everyone to take this tour and be out in the water instead of a sailing past in a boat!

Amazing! - Diogo was fantastic. He made sure we all were safe and well attended during our adventure. It is a very busy area and it is important to have someone who understands how to navigate the boat traffic, strong waves and the caves. It was a rough day so we only went into the big cave, but that was very cool. We will call Diogo next time we visit and he promised to show us a lot more on a calmer day.

Excellent! - Very nice experience. Joe is very friendly and very experienced. He is more like out tour guide, always explained the attraction while paddling. He also helped us to take pictures. :) A fantastic SUP experience.

Fun, beautiful - Excellent trip. Shiko was a great instructor who taught us lots of useful techniques. Beautiful caves and coastline. It was much busier than we expected with boats so have to really concentrate when they go past because of the waves made. This was May so can imagine could be quite hectic in the height of summer
