Over the top………. - Loved it. I always start my stay at a place by getting on a hop on and hop off tour bus. And this trip didn’t disappoint:)

City Bus Tour with extras! - Having done bus tours in every city we visit, we booked the yellow bus as an orientation trip round the city, and an opportunity to see more distant sites that are passed through on the routes. there are two main bus routes, blue and purple. Blue takes you around the older city, including Belem and was, in my opinion, the better of the two. The purple route takes you out to the Parc day Nacoes, an interesting area based around an EXPO type development. Unfortunately access is via fairly long and non descript route. If you are only doing a single route, blue would be my advice. The ticket includes access to the 4 Funiculars - very handy in such a hilly city, a ride on the old public trams ( not hop on, hop off, but well recommended, and use of the Santa Just a lift offering great views across the city, but often the queues are lengthy. Also includes the river tour. Overall good value and recommended

Great city to visit - Spent three days in Lisbon as part of a Douro River Cruise. We stayed at the Hotel Avani Avenida Liberdade right on the Av. de Liberdade and about a 10 minute walk from the old downtown. We purchased the Yellow Bus combo pass, which allowed you three days on the hop-on, hop-off busses, unlimited funicular rides and access to the Yellow Bus trolley that takes the same route as Tram 28. We rode tram 28 and I do not recommend it...it's crowded. We also did a walking food tour through Eating Europe (it was fantastic). We also did a Fado show in Alfama (awesome!) I highly recommend a trip to Lisbon because the sights, food, and atmosphere was spectacular.

Great discovery. - We traveled with the yellow buses for 96 hours. During the day we made the different routes by bus, stopping at different places and in the evening by tram. We took advantage of the "pack" to do the typical little trams, the boat and the elevator. Without this we would not have tested so many things. We really recommend this system to families, it helps the children's (and parents') tired little legs, it's fun to see the city from above (the metro is fast but you can't see anything) and we have discovered certain neighborhoods. In short, to do!

Gorgeous - It was wonderful. Thank you for allowing me to visit Lisbon. This package was perfect for me. I only had three days. I appreciated the audio guide in French.

Great value for money - Great way to see lisbon. The Belem tour has more to see than the modern one but the combo ticket with both as well as the river boat tour is great value.

Wonderful way to see Lisbon - Sitting upstairs on the open air, gave you an un obstructive view of everything. The bus took a wonderful route where you got to see all of the interesting destinations as well as giving you the ability to take the boat ride, and do the tram. well worth the money.

Long waiting times - The vehicles circulate continuously along the ring, but be careful because the waiting times are much longer than stated (we even waited an hour, instead of 20 minutes!).

Not hop on, hop off as we know it - Buses / Boats/ trams were all there but schedules not frequent enough to be called “hop on hop off”. Perhaps more clarity in the website would have been helpful.

Bad experience - Our bus crush with a cat, they bring us to the next bus, without any care or medical atention, some people have some punches, like me in my Leg, my wife in arm. Not any consideration or asking if we need something. Very nad experience
