Additional Information

If fairy tale locations spark your imagination, then Pena Palace might just be the closest real-world embodiment of such a place. Nestled amidst an enchanting environment, Pena Palace is one of the most extraordinary palaces worldwide. While Sintra is dubbed Lord Byron’s Glorious Eden, Pena Palace is its crowning jewel. Through this tour, we aim to narrate the intriguing history and tales related to Pena Palace and unravel the vision behind its creation by Fernando of Saxe-Coburgo-Gota. He transformed the ruins of a former monastery into an extravagant residence. The price of the tour includes the ticket and transport from Lisbon. Accompanied by a guide throughout the tour, we guarantee an awe-inspiring journey from start to finish. Ready to take the challenge?

Enriching experience! - Very impressive sites. On top of it, Francisco was very kind and generous with information, concise instructions and active listener. At Quinta da Regaleira, the tuk-tuk advice was very appreciated. We would have preferred to have more time in Cascais.

Good experience in Sintra - Good guide and nice experience on the trip to Sintra. There are, however, several things to improve. First of all, the excursion does not include the entrance to the Pena Palace, that is an unnecessary complication and the only thing it generates is problems and confusion. Include the entrance fee and increase the price, that visit cannot be missed by anyone who visits Sintra. Second, if the excursion is in Spanish that must be so and if it will be in two languages that must be known beforehand. Third, if they make an appointment at 7:45, it is at that time that the guide must be there and not after 8 a.m. pick up people from the hotel. Finally, the group must be as homogeneous as possible to carry out the visit, so that if there are physical difficulties for any of the members, this is known in advance. I don't think it's a good idea to have to make decisions on the excursion. The guide gave good tips for lunch and facts about Lisbon. Thank you
