Excellent way to see the valley of kings - Absolutely loved our day trip to the valley of kings. Good amount of time spent and felt like we could stay longer or be quicker as we chose. The valley itself is incredible. We really enjoyed the trip. FYI you’ll go to a store to purchase items. Don’t buy anything unless you’re already keen for it! Always cheaper elsewhere. Guide was excellent and overall an fab way to see the valley of kings. Would definitely recommend.

Touring Luxor with Waleed - both East Bank and West Bank - My friend and I had a blast with Waleed. We spent two days with him. He was very knowledgeable about all the places we visited, and he gave great recommendations for the places to see to make the most of our time and also tips for what we can do on our own time, like taking a boat to banana island and going to Luxor Museum. We arrived at the train station in the morning and Waleed was there as soon as I exited the train, holding my name card. He had a driver ready and took us straight to the temples at Karnak, then to Luxor Temple. It was a fascinating time. We learned a lot, and he also gave us time to explore the places on our own and take pictures, and showed us where to take the best photos. After all the sightseeing he brought us to our hotel and helped us get checked in. We made plans for the following day to take a sunrise hot air balloon, which he arranged for us with the balloon company, and to visit the West Bank sites. The balloon company picked us up from our hotel in the morning, and Waleed was ready for us when we finished. After that he took us to a cafe restaurant before going to the Colossi at Memnon, the valley of the kings, and Hatshepsut temple, all of which were amazing. Waleed was very knowledgeable and experienced and taught us a lot about the history and meaning of the places we were visiting and how they were built and answered all our questions. We finished off the tour going to a store selling authentic souvenirs made of different stones and went to a nice buffet restaurant, and dropped us off at our hotel. All in all a very worthwhile and enjoyable experience.

Luxor West Bank tour with tour guide Rania - We have done West Bank Luxor guided tour and we are very happy with our tour guide Rania, who has amazing knowledge of Egypt history (she is Egyptologist) and explains everything with a big passion. Actually after all tours we did in Egypt with different tour guides, she is definitely the best! Very recommendable to do guises tour with Rania if your are in Luxor!!

Walid is the best you’ll find - We spent two days with Walid and what an amazing experience. Never have we had such an enthusiastic and informed guide. He was so kind too and even helped us take great photos. We are so lucky to have found Walid and can’t wait to use him again next time we come to Egypt!

Incredible Egypt Experience - I spent several days with guide Walid all over the West and East bank of the Nile in Luxor. I can say hands down the best guided tours of my life. Walid is extremely knowledgable, patient and kind. He is great at being flexible and setting up the tours to ensure his guests have a good experience. Walid went above and beyond making us feel safe, informed and excited to be in Egypt. He really made the trip for us. He became a friend and we really enjoyed his expertise, knowledge and passion for all of the incredible ancient sites. He was very accommodating in how we wanted to spend our time at the various sites. It was also very important to him that we got the best prices. It was a truly incredible experience. I would recommend again and again!

2 full days East and West bank in Luxor, plus Dendera - After extensive research of all the tour companies on TripAdvisor, viator and google etc, and reading hundreds of reviews, we are so glad we eventually found Walid for our two-day tour of the sites of the West and East banks of Luxor. From the moment we made direct contact with him via Whatsapp he was quick to respond and provide prices for the two days which were in line with prices from other tour companies, including airport pick up, lunches and all the usual entry fees. We had the two full days of our trip organised in just a few short messages and Walid was even happy to requote for us to pay in EGP when the original price was in dollars. Walid was more than happy to accommodate our specific site wish list and provided a tailor-made trip for each day. He was happy for us to start a bit later than usual each morning but did suggest earlier starts to avoid the heat, which is normal practice. If you are not too tired and like an early start, then I would recommend this so that you can get a couple of sites in before it gets too hot. We were just unlucky with the heat as it had gone up by 5 degrees in the couple of days before we arrived When Walid met us at the airport to take us to our hotel after a long day of travelling, we were made to feel very welcome, and he made sure we were happy with the proposed itinerary for the following two days. His English is very good, and his knowledge of pharaonic history was excellent which made it really easy to understand everything, with full and detailed explanations of everything we saw. We were given plenty of free time to see as much or as little of each site as we wanted. We were taken to the usual tourist restaurants for our lunches and the food at both of them was great and plentiful! Soups, meat stews, flatbreads, aubergine dishes, (wow!) and meat koftas were all really tasty. Drinks were extra which is standard on these tours. We explained that shopping was not a priority for us as we were travelling hand luggage only so had limited space, but we made a couple of stops at papyrus and alabaster shops (with craft demos and welcoming drink), mainly to cool down in the air-conditioned buildings as the heat during our visit was so intense. It was clear that our safety and wellbeing was a high priority and Walid was very good at monitoring us and knowing when we needed to stop and cool down, particularly when my partner was really starting to struggle with the heat. There was no particularly hard sell in the shops, but we bought our small souvenirs anyway. Walid was happy to talk about everything else outside of the ancient history, including politics, modern Egyptian history and 80's/90's music! We would very highly recommend Walid as your guide as he was knowledgeable, welcoming, punctual and adaptable and made the whole trip go smoothly. If we ever go back, we would not hesitate to contact him for all our needs. Many thanks to Walid, and our drivers Romani and Carlos, for a great 2 days.

Excellent tour guides! - Loved viewing the queen hatshepsut temple, very beautiful. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history of all the sites we attended and detailed in his explanation. Very friendly, helpful and kept us safe in the city.

Excellent - Book them now! The journey and communication between myself and Rania was excellent and she told me straight away what to expect and an outline of what we can do as well as price. Not only was the pickup excellent but also Waleed helped us with some problems we had with the flight and patiently stayed with us as we were girls travelling alone. We went to the East bank on the first day and second day we went to the West Bank. Throughout this Waleed’s knowledge of Egyptian history ensured we were informed of everything and I would recommend them for this tour above all others. Great English and amazing knowledge of the area as well the relevant people and places around Luxor. Good price and also good knowledge of the area and Luxor so we had a great guide across the board. If you and an easy simple process with a vastly knowledgeable and kind guide, book them now!
