Following a brief journey, we arrive at Tauber Gießen, the sole surviving natural floodplain on the Upper Rhine and take pleasure in the view of numerous mesmerizing water channels. We then advance to the Kappel-Rhinau ferry crossing into the territory of our neighboring country. Here, our initial off-road adventure begins. However, the real thrill…
Following a brief journey, we arrive at Tauber Gießen, the sole surviving natural floodplain on the Upper Rhine and take pleasure in the view of numerous mesmerizing water channels. We then advance to the Kappel-Rhinau ferry crossing into the territory of our neighboring country. Here, our initial off-road adventure begins. However, the real thrill comes with the Vosges Mountain, where we traverse through solitary forest routes and dirt tracks leading to spectacular viewpoints. A two-hour journey brings us to an isolated forest cabin for a break and a chance to swap drivers. More off-road explorations lead us to the Alsatian Wine Route, adorned with charming vineyard villages towards our journey back to Germany.
