Highlights
  • Ákra Váni - Cape Vani is famous for its history. Millions of years ago, it used to be the bottom part of a caldera at the bottom of the sea. There were the manganese mines opened in 1898, the ruins of which can be seen.
  • Kalogries Beach - a protected bay with swallow crystal clear water. It is surrounded by green cliffs making the water appear turquoise, like a natural swimming pool. There you will enjoy swimming, snorkeling and our delicious homemade breakfast!
  • Sykia beach - Sykia is an impressive natural monument , the biggest cave on the island surrounded by colorful volcanic rocks. We’ll stop for swimming & snorkeling in the crystal clear, emerald waters. There you will enjoy our delicious brunch!
  • Kleftiko - Kleftiko is the famous old pirate bay, with a number of caves. It’s an apocryphal bay, enclosed by a complex of impressive white volcanic rocks. Swimming and snorkeling are highly recommended in the crystal green-blue waters, exploring the sea caves and admire the magnificent landscape.
  • Thiorichia Beach (Old Sulfur Mines) - Theiorychia a historical place at the east side of the island, where we will see the oldest business for the mining of sulfur in Greece.
  • Gerakas Beach - Gerakas is a beautiful sandy beach enclosed by impressive geological rock formations. You will be mesmerized by the golden sand and the most vibrant shade of turquoise water you’ve ever seen. Swimming in the hot spring is the highlight! There you will taste homemade traditional food, Greek BBQ & you will enjoy your drink having an amazing view.
  • Galazia Nera - Poliegos is the largest uninhabited island, an unknown “diamond” in the Aegean Sea. The last swimming stop is at Galazia Nera bay, the trademark of the island, a small narrow bay with steep white rocks, white sand and transparent light blue waters, known as “Blue Lagoon”.
  • Glaronisia - Glaronisia, the seagull islands is a complex of islets with a volcanic background and interesting geology.
  • Klima - Klima is a traditional fishing village with colorful little houses, “syrmata”, which are one of the most distinguishing features of Milos.

Incredible Experience - There are many options for boat tours around Milos. I cannot recommend this one enough. They limit capacity to 14ppl. We saw some boats with more than twice this amount, and they looked quite crowded. For a 10hr day, it’s nice to have a bit of space. Not only is it not too crowded, but the boat is lovely, the crew is fantastic, and they feed you amazing food throughout the day. Like seriously incredible food for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. They make sure you never go thirsty either throughout the day. They’re very knowledgeable about all the spots you visit. They give you plenty of time to swim and enjoy each spot, and provide paddle boards and other swim aids if needed (sometimes you may want to swim sort of far to explore a beach, and it’s nice to have a noodle to help make the swim a bit easier). The boat is a Catamaran, which is definitely smoother than normal boats, but you should still take motion sickness pills beforehand, and bring more to take just in case throughout the day. You’ll be on a boat for 10hrs, and it can get windy around Milos. Even if you don’t usually get sea sick, I would recommend taking some Dramamine just in case. You don’t want to end up having a bad time. Overall, just an incredible experience. Highly recommend.

5/5 experience! - My husband and I did the full day excursion with Naya and crew, and it was one of our favorite days in Milos. From the moment we stepped on the catamaran, the crew was incredibly attentive and always made sure we were comfortable. They max out the group at 14 people, so we had plenty of space on the boat to stretch out. We did notice a few of the other boats had a lot more people on board, so we were grateful for a more intimate group. There were two restrooms on board, which were always clean and fully stocked. They will also provide beach towels if you didn’t bring any. I usually get quite seasick on boats, but I only felt a bit queasy once during the first stop. Their crew were quick to respond with “traveler’s gum” (similar to dramamine but fast-acting), and I was completely fine for the rest of the day! The meals were SO GOOD, especially the tzatziki and bbq chicken. We even went back for a second portion, since there was plenty of food to go around. All the stops were beautiful - Milos is truly a beautiful island with varying landscapes. The best stops were those that can only be visited by boat. Although the water was cold, the weather was absolutely amazing and we couldn’t NOT get into the water. The boat was also stocked with pool noodles and a paddle board in case you weren’t comfortable swimming or getting fully submerged. We would absolutely recommend cruising with Naya & family.

Magical day sailing. - Magical. There is no better way to describe it. We had a beautiful day on the boat. The brother and sister team who run the tour are wonderful and the brother/captain even agreed to swim with my daughter, even though the water was cold. And he let her sit in the captain’s chair. The food was great. And we met new friends. We had an absolutely wonderful and memorable day. One of the best experiences on our trip.

A beautiful day in Milos! - Had a great day out in Milos with Naya and Antonis. The day before had been very windy, and day of our trip, there were still some northern winds. We were shuttled to Paleochori beach and waded in shallow water to get on small boat to take us to the ship. Due to the winds, we were not able to circle the entire island and around Poliegos but we still had a full day. For a bit of the journey I was feeling a bit sea sick, even with sea bands on, but Naya made sure I was ok and suggested getting water at next stop to help. Usually I do not have issues with sea sickness - so if you do, take the medication ahead of the trip! I found sitting the front to be better later in the day, even with choppiness near Vani - perhaps a distraction as you prepare yourself for the next bit of splash! All the food prepared on board was really great, including some greek yogurt and some fruit topping / bergamot sauce made by Naya and Antonis' mother. We had a total of 9 passengers, and that seemed perfect for the size of the boat, so everyone was too crowded together. Seeing some of the small beaches, pirate hideouts and the varying scenry/rock formations on the island was amazing by sea.

The BEST boating experience in Milos! - THE BEST boating experience in Milos, and my favorite part of our Greece vacation. Naya & her brother are very friendly & knowledgeable about the island, taking our group to the top spots for private beaches, swimming, snorkeling (they provide equipment), memorable photos and more. The food on board was delicious including some of their homemade family recipes. Very professional and so much fun!

Favorite Experience in Greece - Absolutely amazing spots for swimming and taking pictures and the staff was incredible!!! The captain would explain the importance of each site (whether we only took a picture or actually swam) and the food was fantastic. I am lactose intolerant so they made sure that all the food they prepared for me did not have any dairy! Would highly recommend this to anyone!!!!
