Fantastic tour with a wonderful guide. - What a wonderful tour we have just been on with Norman who could not have been more helpful or accommodating especially as I have some mobility issues. He was friendly, engaging and extremely knowledgeable. We toured Fort Jesus ar a leisurely pace hearing about its fascinating history. Yhen we went on a short walk through the interesting old town. Everything was done at our own pace and at mo point did we ever feel rushed. Finally it was off the the spice market and the Mombasa tusks. Norman ensured we were safe and wad more than happy to take photographs. Could not be faulted. Thank you Norman.

Legendarily good city tour with Humphrey guide - We met Humphrey during the Mombasa visit directly at Fort Jesus, or he addressed us politely and non-intrusively and offered us (2 couples) his guide services on an ad hoc basis. After the usual negotiations on site, we finally hired him and experienced an informative, as well as entertaining day with him. For a whole 4h he gave us historical details about the fort, the old town, as well as the individual eras in an understandable way. Recommendations for buying souvenirs (at Mama Sita's), Help center for finding the right Kenyan coffee, as well as the Recommendation of a joint conclusion at Café Jahazi at the end of the tour. If you want to experience the tour in a way that is easy to understand and without hassle, Humphrey is in the best hands.

Great guide and very informative - My husband and I really enjoyed the walking tour with Humphrey. He was a great guide and very informative about the history of Fort Jesus as well as Old Town Mombasa. After Old Town, he took us to the market and then to the Lighthouse where my husband used to go as a child. We had freshly made cassava chips at a stall where three generations of a family had worked/were still working. We would recommend this tour.

Knowledgeable, reliable, humorous - Mombasa couldn't be better explored - Humphrey is a polite, sovereign and knowledgeable guide. In a pleasant chatter tone, he conveys historical and current facts about the diverse life in Mombasa. At the same time, he has a good sense of the individual needs of his customers. Absolute Recommendation for an insightful yet safe tour of Mombasa's Old Town.

Great experience of Fort Jesus and Old Town Mombasa - a walk down history lane! - Our group of 6 really enjoyed the walking tour with Humphrey. He is friend, accomodating and knowledgeable about the history of Fort Jesus as well as Old Town Mombasa. We highly recommend his tour. He explained everything in easy to understand language. After Old town he also took us to the market where we got some Lamu Halwa (a sweet dish like jelly infused with seeds and nuts) . He also took us to the Lighthouse where we enjoyed some coconut water and fresh fried cassava chips (if you have not tried that, you must!).

Informative and a pleasant tour of Old Town Mombasa - Humphery Ndungu gave us a wonderful tour of the Old Town Mombasa and Fort Jesus. He was very knowledge and witty; answered all of our questions patiently and even took us to the light house and got us to enjoy what the locals do - drink tender coconut and eat fresh tapioca chips and enjoy the view of the ocean. Time well spent in Mombasa

Amazing history lessen in architecture! - So much history to learn...and Humphrey knows how to deliver! Architecture and people - past and present. Humphrey has a kind heart and is an extremely informative guide...and knows how to frame a photo! He loves what he does and it comes through. No way you'd be able to understand about the city's history in the same way alone. Wonderful way to explore Mombasa.
