Monteriggioni - Our expert driver will pick you up at your location (hotel, B&B or private apartment) and take you on a journey through the rolling Tuscan hills to the romantic Monteriggioni Castle. Monteriggioni is a medieval outpost, built by the Sienese in 1214–19 as the front line in their wars against Florence.
The Castle was able to resist numerous attacks by the Florentines. In 1554, as an act of reconciliation with the Medici, Captain Zeti handed over the keys of the Castle to the Florentine forces. this was considered a “great betrayal” by the citizens of Siena who cursed him. Legend says that on full moon nights you can hear the horses’ hooves and see the ghost of the Captain running around the castle - Chianti Road - After the free visit of the castle we will move to the first winery, where you will taste the famous Chianti “Black Rooster”and 4 other fine Tuscan wines, including the Super Tuscan and the Vermentino Bianco accompanied by a small aperitif with bruschetta and extra virgin olive oil.

S. Gimignano is a small walled medieval hill town not far from Siena. Known as the Town of Fine Towers, The town also is known for saffron, the Golden Ham, and its white wine, “Vernaccia di San Gimignano”, produced from the ancient variety of Vernaccia grape which is grown on the sandstone. In the main square don’t forget to taste the best ice cream in the world - 2 times world champion (Gelateria Dondoli). - Podere La Marronaia- Le Colonne Biodynamic Winery & Farm - Now it’s time for lunch and we will move in a biologic tuscan farm, located on a hill in front of San Gimignano with a romantic view. There, will enjoy a typical genuine Tuscan lunch:

A first course of bruschetta and cold cuts, with pecorino cheese, - a second and third courses of pasta and other Tuscan delights.
At the end we will taste a dessert. All accompanied by 4/5 glasses of wine, Chianti Docg, Vernaccia Docg and Super Tuscan and more…
After lunch we return to Florence.

• Our first destination is Montepulciano, where you’ll explore the medieval town and visit a historic wine cellar. Wander through tunnels carved into tuff stone beneath striking brick archways and engage in wine tasting.
• Enjoy a guided tour of the Historic Cellar, with five wine tastings (including Nobile di Montepulciano, Rosso di Montepulciano, and Brunello). Upon request, our driver can suggest great spots for a traditional Tuscan lunch.
• Our second stop is San Gimignano, where you’ll tour the city and its magnificent towers.
• Finally, we’ll deliver you to your hotel or private apartment in Florence.
