Highlights
- Tollymore Forest Park - This walking tour visits three iconic Game of Thrones® locations deep in Tollymore forest. The first is the location of the opening prologue scene of the very first episode, the wildling pit where the Night’s Watch finds dismembered wildling bodies in the snow. The second location is a campfire where Tyrion and Jon talk on their way north to the Wall. The third location is the bridge where the Starks find a dead direwolf and her pups.

The Tollymore forest has featured in the first season of Game of Thrones® portraying both the Haunted forest beyond the Wall and the Wolfswood near Winterfell.
This guided walk brings you to three important sites over a period of 90 minutes. You’ll join other participants of our Winterfell coach tour that departs at 10am, and walk through different film locations. The total distance covered by foot is 2 miles (3.2km). Some parts of the path are uneven, and there is a steep decline into the forest and a steep climb up from the car park. Those with mobility issues may find this tour challenging.
Look out for a coach with EAMONN ROONEY prominently displayed on the side. A Stark woolen cloak is included in the tour package, free of extra charge. Feel free to bring up any questions to our guide before the tour starts.
Please ensure you have outdoor shoes on and are dressed suitably for the weather conditions in Northern Ireland.

The North remembers! - This was a great tour. Our tour guide was awesome! We have 2 people in our family that never watch the show and they still got a lot out of it. A definite must do your when in Ireland. The national park is breathtaking!

Excellent. - The tour was hosted by Lar which was great, really enjoyed it. Lar was really informative and good fun, gave a good insight into the making of the series. The props really added to the experience. Would recommend.

You must visit! - We came from Dublin and had 3 places on the list. Tollymore forest was last on the list, but the best. It’s one of my favourite forests from now on. Absolutely spectacular views. Huge car park, land so well looked after. Can’t wait to get back.

Highly recommend for Thrones fans! - Our tour guide Robbie was great!
The tour was very informative and fun. We couldn’t have done it without a guide - there’s no way we would have found the locations ourselves and we would have missed out on things.
Seeing the spot where the Starks find the Direwolf pups was the highlight for me.
It was fun getting photos in a Stark cloak with Longclaw (Jon Snow’s sword) - it’s good to go full geek.

AMAZING ! 10 STARS ! - Me and my sister did the private tour and it was nothing short of amazing! Robbie Atkinson was our guide, an extra from the show ( barathian archer ) .
He was such a fun and amazing tour guide that had such a passion for what he does and it really shows and makes the tour that much more enjoyable.
He really went above and beyond with all the extra local knowledge and history that was really interesting.
We had lunch in a lovely little pub called the barn and the food was delicious! Recommend the open prawn sandwich! The locations are stunning and the capes and replica swords from the show are a great little extra that just adds to the fun!
Honestly can't speak highly enough of the whole experience.... if you're wondering.... stop .... book it! You won't be disappointed!

Fantastic experience, great tour guide - My wife and I took the game of thrones tollymore forest tour on Saturday with tour guide Robbie, wee had a fantastic experience from start to finish, Robbie made the whole thing very enjoyable with his wealth of knowledge of the forest and game of thrones, wee would both highly recommend this tour to anyone as an enjoyable few hours out.

Who wants the North? - That was the question our guide Lar made us before entering the park... "WE ARE THE NORTH!" we shouted in our Starks' vests. The visit was such amazing! Tollymore
Forest Park is awesome and expecially for a huge GOT fan like me. Lar, our guide, took part to several series episodes and he's such enthusiasic in explaning all the details. I really enjoyed it and surely I'll recommend it!
