It was beautiful, we saw... - It was beautiful, we saw bears in a caged habit eating a big halibut fish, a cute owl named Oden, the views were breathtaking. And you save $$$ going with Viator. Just go inside guest services and give them your ticket or in your phone. They will print you your souvenirs tickets.

Amazing experience at Grouse Mountain - we are a group of friends travelling and it was an awesome experience to reach the grouse mountain with snow and to be able to ride the gondola to reach the top. It was fairly easy to get there and buying the tickets in advance thru Viator is recommended.

Scenic and interesting - My husband and I visited here by using the free shuttle from Canada place. We pre purchased our tickets but think you could also purchase once you arrive. The gondola ride although quite short shows fantastic views as you go very high up to grouse mountain. We arrived early as we wanted to see the early bear talk. This was really interesting hearing all about the 2 bears that were rescued and live there. We also listened to the owl talk and most of the bird of prey talk which were both interesting. We went on the ski lifts to the highest part which had beautiful views. Not maybe advisable if you don’t like heights as it is very high. We watched the lumberjack show which was very entertaining and very well done and very light hearted. We had a nice hot drink in the cafe looking down over Vancouver. You could quite easily spend all day here if you wanted. It was worth the money getting to see a variety of things and is worth getting there early to get to listen to the talks and see everything on offer there

Snow time to do everything - Well organised and nice at the top. Cable car ride great, I don’t like heights but it’s stable and solid and easy to look straight out. Quite cloudy as just started to snow at the top, but views still really good. Nice cafe at the top and even though daylight the light walk was nice. Only a little frustrating to find despite early booking of tickets, only a days notice of a late opening, and as we had paid for other events could not stay long. This was on FB, perhaps emails could be automated too.

Not the best time of year to go - I wasn’t thrilled this time going up onto Grouse Mountain. I went there about two years ago and enjoyed myself much more, probably because there were more activities to do. I was told that since snow had fallen recently (my trip was in late October), most of the activities had ended. Also, there was just enough snow to make the slopes up and down (I walked up to the end of the ski lifts , also closed down, and back down to the gondola station) slippery and icy in parts. I even fell down once, and luckily, a nice guy helped me up ! The only real thing to do was to look at the two grizzly bears go in and out of their cages.
