Worlds end awsome - The scenery was stunning. We were lucky when we started the walk it was very musty but it cleared and the views were stunning so clear. But what made the trip was the guide/ driver Chadith who was so knowledgeable and went far and above to give us such a memorable experience. We didn’t have enough cash for the entrance fee as they didn’t take credit cards. He had some cash but not enough and borrowed some more from another driver so we could gain entry to the park. Thanks once again for a memorable trip. Mark

Horton Plains Hike - Today we went on a hike at the Horton Plains National Park with Harshana as our driver and guide. It was incredible! We arrived during sunrise which was very beautiful. The national park is quiet, clean and really scenic. We were lucky enough to spot monkeys, a giant squirrel, deer and some really colourful birds. What a fantastic experience! Harshana was very knowledgable and super friendly. And thanks for stopping on the way back at the tea shop :)

Lucky Morning with a Great Guide - Charith - My driver and guide for the day was Charith. He was on time when he picked me up from the hotel. When we reached the Horton Plains, we were lucky enough to spot a leopard at the entrance. Charith was extremely knowledgeable about the area. He was able to point out many different animals and took me on a less-known path to see the sites and find different animals. He's also very caring. He saw one older gentle fell due to slippery ground and he rushed to check if he's okay. Overall, Chairth was the perfect guide for the trip. Highly recommend!

Review - We had a fabulous time at Horton Planes, thanks to our guide Kavish. He is extremely hospitable and will go to lengths to make your trek in the planes enjoyable. Kavish is knowledgeable and has a very good idea/background of places in and around Nuwara Eliya. I would recommend him to anyone who is planning to visit Sri Lanka

Definitely worth a visit for those looking for a silent hike and wonderful vistas - We had a really good time with the hike on the Horton plains. Our guide Charith was on time, very polite, well informed and accommodated all our requests. He showed us around the park and even carried my 8 year old son for a while as he go tired. Highly recommended for their service and highly recommend Horton Plains for a silent hike, wonderful views and sights & sounds of rare species of birds indigenous only to the plains.

Worth every penny! - Charith was our guide for this experience. What a wonderful experience it was. Hortons plains national park is beautiful!!Charith was very patient and accomodating. Travelling with a 8 year old - we were very slow with the trek - Charith was extremely patient and understanding. He also explained to us about the national park, the indigenous species of birds and ensured we felt comfortable. All in all - it was a difficult trek ~ long and a bit of treacherous routes but Charith made the whole experience enjoyable!! Don't miss the Hortons national park trek if you are in Nuwara Eliya!!💚

Nuwarseliya Tour - The famous Horton Plains is a nature reserve characterized by a beautiful landscape of rolling hills, forests, and grassland. The highest plateau in the island, spanning approximately 10,000 hectares, is home to 24 species of mammal - such as elk, deer, giant squirrel, wild boar, wild hare, porcupine, and leopard.

Nice park - This park is not difficult to navigate, so the main things about booking a tour are getting transportation and some flavor/info on things in the park. The latter will depend a little on which guide you get. Mine was ok, but I got the feeling he wanted to be done as fast as possible. Luckily I am in shape and it wasn't too much of a strain, but I would have liked a little more relaxed pace. This is not the same guide mentioned in other reviews, so YMMV. The park itself is beautiful and I still got some great photos. If you are going to this park, try not to bring any snacks that are in single-use plastic wrappers, as the guards at the front will repackage them into paper bags to prevent littering.
