Place de la Republique - Paris offers a lot of speakeasy bars for night owls. We will start the night at my favourite hidden gem in the 11th arrondissement, we will spend about one hour here then head to the next bar which is a 6 minutesââ¬â¢ walk.
Some of the bars have secret entrances so be ready for a fun night. The bars have amazing cocktails, beers, non-alcoholic drinks, good music and a good ambiance. There are plenty of secret bars and unfortunately we cannot explore all of them in one night. However, I will share with you the location of other secret bars which you can visit later.
Please be advised drinks or food NOT included. Other things to note Experience time says it lasts 2 hours but you are welcome to stay at the bars as long as you like. If your preferred hour is fully booked, don’t worry, bar fits a lot of people, send us a message.

Fun evening with Dadhet - Dadhet was a superb host. We never would have stumbled upon any of these fun drinking spots! He was really knowledgeable about the various drinks offered at each bar and offered customized recommendations based on each member’s preferences.

Must so unique experience - Very cool experience. Dadhet was excellent with our group and made everyone feel welcome and included. We had some cool cocktails in some cool bars we wouldn’t have otherwise known about. Thanks again

Speakeasy Tour with Marc - Marc was absolutly incredible! He helped translate the menus, sparked conversation between fellow guests and answered any questions our group had. What an amazing experience!!! Must do!

Viator Fail - Marc was warm and welcoming, the best part of our experience. We were booked for 7pm but unable to locate our group. Directions were not specific (possibly on other sites but not Viator), there was no signage, no attempt to locate us, no outreach to inquire, and no response to our messages to locate the group. We thought we’d been left so after no response, we unsuccessfully attempted to find the group at one of the speak easy locations. After several attempts, we finally reached someone by phone. The first operator hung up on us (yes, really). The 2nd attempted to connect us with the group but it was a very lengthy process (45 min AFTER the start time). We ended up starting over with the 8pm group (Marc’s group) instead. After several major logistical failures, Marc salvaged the very frustrating night with his wit and engaging personality.
Net: Worthwhile but I’d reach out to triple check exact location and get your guide contact info beforehand so that you can communicate directly. Viator won’t be there to support you.
