A perfect Van Gogh day! - What a great day! It was incredible to follow in the footsteps of Van Gogh, where we know he painted and where he spent time in the city of Auvers-sur-Oise. Victor was very informative and made Van Gogh and his art come alive. And we got a lot of exercise too! The perfect day. We left Paris around 8am from Gare du Nord and arrived back in Paris before 3pm. We highly recommend.

Great Hike, Great Guide, Highly Recommend! - This was our second time taking this tour with Victor. He is one of the best tour guides we have enjoyed in our many years of traveling to France and Paris. Victor is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming. Victor provides very clear directions prior to the trip and what to expect. The total mileage for the day was right around 8 miles with some mild hills and a very enjoyable pace and was exactly what was described in the description. Victor's knowledge of art, the area, and his ability to communicate clearly made for a very relaxing and fact filled day. Victor makes the day even more fun with sprinkled trivia questions at each stop. If I could give Victor a higher rating, I would. The tour was given in English. Although the weather forecast looked very favorable the day prior, we did have a little rain but nothing to stop the tour, We all came prepared for the "iffy" weather and a wonderful hike through a beautiful area with a tremendous art history. We highly recommend this tour!

Excellent intimate educational hiking experience - I could not think of a better way to spend half a day outside of Paris than to walk/hike with a very knowledgeable and considerate guide as Victor and learn about the life of Vincent Van Gogh, his work and the impressionism art movement. The 7.5 mile hike did not feel long as I was glued to Victor’s interesting commentaries and ways to get us engaged and think about many of the topics covered. I enjoyed walking through the small villages and fields, something I do not think I would be able to do, plan and experience while visiting Paris. Two of the highlights of my day were seeing the attic where he lived and died and Vincent’s final resting place. It was an excellent intimate educational hiking experience that I would definitely recommend.

Super fun and adventurous - LOVED IT! - This was such a fun day! 7 mile hike (wear tennis shoes and pants per mud and shrubbery along the paths) and learned more about Van Gogh than I could've imagined. The countryside was beautiful and peaceful and the villages were quaint and charming. It was SO cool to see the places that Vincent had painted. Victor (the guide) was phenomenal! Truly a kind, endearing, and knowledgeable man who made the day glide by seamlessly. I will say he is quite the quick walker, so make sure you are up for the pace.

Getting to see the real life places that Van Gogh painted was incredible! Victor was so personable and truly such a genuine soul. I highly recommend this tour!
