Highlights
- Vinicunca Mountain - Early, at a scheduled time, we will stop at your hotel in Cusco to go to Collasuyo, south of the ancient capital of the Incas (Cusco) that was part of Tawantinsuyo (4 ancient regions of the Incas). Our first stop will be after 2h (78km), in the community of Paucarpata (CUSIPATA) where we will rest and we will be able to buy water or energizing drinks, snacks, cereals, etc. and also enjoy our buffet breakfast. Afterwards, we will continue on our transport by road for about 1 hour where we will arrive at the PHULAWASIPATA base camp and prepare to make the hike, a climb of approximately 2 hours (3.5 km). During this journey we will have the opportunity to see the impressive Hatun Ritti glacier (4825m), the different varieties of South American camelids and the wonderful reflection of the landscape accompanied by the Puka Qocha and Qomer Qocha lagoons.
Upon arriving at the Color Mountain we will have enough time to take pictures of this enigmatic and incredible place. Then we will return to the base camp, descending for approximately 1h30 (3.5km), where we will take our transport to Paucarpata and enjoy our delicious lunch. Finally, around 6 pm we will be in the imperial city of Cusco, where we will take you to your hotel.

Mountain 7 Colors - I have never felt so alive and happy to participate in this experience. 5200 meters of altitude, crossing difficult paths, not to mention the cold, and in the end, parting ways with a unique view that only the most courageous will have the privilege of seeing. Make no mistake, because behind all the effort, the reward is enriching. And it couldn't help but be different from Colorful Mountain!

Visit the Colorful Mountain! - We were lucky because the view was very clear the day we went, we managed to have a great view and take some really cool photos. The climb is a bit difficult, but it is possible to climb on horseback or by motorbike if you prefer. The descent on foot was very peaceful!

I passed the Colorful Mountain! - The visit to the colorful mountain was great! Despite the altitude (which has a level of difficulty), it is not as difficult to climb as it seems and there is the option of climbing on horseback or motorbikes as well.
We were lucky because the day we went it wasn't snowing, but 2 days before we couldn't see anything. So our view was definitely privileged.

Very tiring, but it’s worth it - Very beautiful place. It’s a little bit tiring,, because it’s not a short drive from Cusco, and the place is veeery high, but it’s worth it. Nice views not only when hiking, but also from the car, during all the way

Unique experience - An incredible experience! A landscape, literally, that takes your breath away!
We got on the motorbike and took the opportunity to take lots of photos.
And the altitude of 5,000m makes a difference!

Incredible Trip! - We had some mistakes during our accommodation, but Peru Grand Travel was always available to resolve them. We stayed in Cusco, but going out for walks alleviated the aggressive effects (at least for me) of altitude sickness. I highly recommend it!❤️
