Highlights
  • Sacred Valley of the Incas - 6:45 am: Pickup from your hotel in Cusco and 1h ride to Chinchero
  • Chinchero - 8:00 am:
Meet Roxana who is part of the eldest family keeping the weaving traditions alive.
Her alpacas and guinea pigs will welcome you and you can feed them their breakfast. Further, learn about their fascinating weaving techniques using natural ingredients to create impressive textiles by hand.
  • Moray - 9:30 am:
Imagine the impressive Inca terraces and the beautiful Andes in the background. This view is just stunning, the story behind even more.
Your guide will teach you about the Inca’s agricultural laboratory, and how they created different climatic zones in these terraces. We’ll enjoy this place for about 45min - 1h.
  • Maras - 11 am:
Staying in front of thousands of salt ponds, still intact.
Here you have the chance to take one of the most famous pictures in the Sacred Valley. Our guide will be happy to capture this moment for you.
From here we continue our tour to have delicious lunch.
  • Urubamba - 1 pm:
Enjoy an outstanding lunch buffet (vegetarian and vegan options available) in one of the best restaurants in the Sacred Valley, the highly ranked Tunupa.
  • Archaeological Park Ollantaytambo - 2:40 pm:
Our last discovery for that day: The terraces and ruins of Ollantaytambo.
This place was highly protected as it was the entrance to the path to Machu Picchu.
Thus, much happened here during the Spanish invasion.
  • Ollantaytambo - 3:50 pm:
You have the option to be dropped off at the train station in Ollantaytambo, or to return with us to Cusco.

Our tour guide Grista was amazing! - Grista is the most outstanding and dedicated guide we encountered during our trip to Peru! She diligently seized every opportunity to introduce us to the customs, history, and culture of Peru and Cusco. Her deep love, pride, and comprehensive understanding of the land she calls home left us with a profound impression. Her extensive knowledge and enthusiastic passion were truly remarkable. Grista thoughtfully and expertly tailored a comfortable day tour for us. Her efforts made it the most perfect and enjoyable day of our entire trip to Peru! We are immensely grateful and hope to meet the lovely guide Grista again on our next visit to Peru. We wish her health and happiness!

Ausangate glaciers, herds of roaming alpaca, red valley and yes a colorful mountain too - Rainbow mountain, red valley, herds of roaming alpaca and a stunning view of the top 1,000 meters of Ausangate mountain and its stunning glaciers makes this a fantastic adventure. The breakfast and lunch at 15,000 feet were fantastic in both set up and surroundings. The only thing to know is that it currently involves about 3.5 hours of driving each way and about 45 minutes of that is not for the faint of heart driving along beautiful cliffs. If you know all that and still want to go, you will have a fantastic but very long day

Fantastico! - This tour has it all. You will see all the sites in the Sacred Valley for a great price! Vidal was an excellent and knowledgeable tour guide - we learned so much Peruvian culture in addition to the sites. He knew all the great photo ops and even sent me some of the great photos he took a few days after our tour. Highly recommend!
