Important Historical Tour - A somber but very worthwhile experience - taught us lots about the events leading up to and after the dark period of Cambodian history. The tour guide (Ms Sreyneang) was fabulous and extremely knowledgeable. Very professional. Would give her 10 stars.

A Must for Anyone Visiting Cambodia - A reflective visit to the S21 Toul Sleng Genocidal Museum and Killing Fields with our guide Sreyneang (Neang). Travelling to the sites, Neang carefully explained the history of Cambodia, in particular the events leading to the Khmer Rouge takeover in 1975, their subsequent demise in 1979, and regrettably the 10 year civil war that followed. We soon realised, somewhat embarrassingly, that our knowledge of the politics and inhumane treatment of the Khmer (Cambodian) people during this harrowing period was severely lacking. Our walk through the S21 prison and killing fields was sombre as Neang further explained the extent of the cruelty and genocide during the Khmer Rouge rule. Neang also shared personal stories from her own family’s experience, for which we are extremely grateful. While it’s probably not the experience you want or expect to do whilst on holiday, it’s something that every foreign traveller to Cambodia should experience. Thank you Neang for educating and guiding us during our visit, we very much appreciate it.

The Killing Fields and Genocide Museum. - I learned about the Cambodian Genocide both in school and as part of my degree however, the depth of knowledge from my guide (Ms. Sreyneang) was incredible. Not only did Neang inform me in detail about the genocide itself but the rise and fall of the Khmer Rouge. Further, she explained the current domestic political situation after the tour too. Throughout the tour, I was given time to look and experience both sites (The Killing Fields and Genocide Museum) but I was able to ask as many questions as I could. Neang shared family stories too which gave it a more personal and in depth look. I will always be thankful to Neang for operating this tour and imparting her knowledge to me.

A must do in Phnom Penh - The tour is a must do if you visit Phnom Penh. The visit to the Genocidal Museum and Killing Fields was confronting to say the least. Our Guide, Nin , (Ms Sreyneang) was informative, engaging and so knowledgeable on her country's history. She answered any questions with ease and offered great advice on how to make the most of our trip to Phnom Penh. I would highly recommend booking a tour with Nin.

Excellent informative Guide on a private tour - We were guided by Ms Sreyneang around these two sites on a private tour for a family of four. Ms Sreyneang was an excellent guide, she was informative and provided us with the backstory and the horrific details behind this terrible part of human history. We would fully recommend her as a guide.

Superb Guide for a Must Do - This tour enables you to explore and understand one of the most important periods in south-East Asian and world history. It is an extremely moving and, at times, harrowing experience, but one which everyone should have. Our guide is Ms Chheang Sreyneang was absolutely superb, and embellished the experience with the personal experiences of her family and friends. This added a very important human element to the things that we were seeing. Highly recommended, but not for the faint hearted.
