Afternoon in Pompeii with Sasa - We spent two hours in the company of Sasa, an expert guide but also a very nice and ironic person, who explained the history of Pompeii and how life was in the city before it was overwhelmed by ash. Experience not to be missed.

Fantastic guided tour - We booked a 3 hour guided tour and even with the rain to was a fantastic experience. Our guide knew the history of Pompeii and of the many peoples of Pompeii over the area’s many century history. We saw a great many things we would have missed without a guide. Three hours was a good start to see the city and get a feel for it but it was not nearly enough time to explore the site. We hope to get back to explore more of Pompeii Don’t skip the on-site museum to see some of the beautiful relics

He put much of Pompeii’s history and architecture into context with knowledgeable information that truly made the experience much richer for me. I saw many people walking around Pompeii without a guide and while it is still stunning to look at the many historical artifacts without the context of its history I believe you really miss the full impact of what you’re looking at without a guide. Francesco was very knowledgeable, personable, spoke great English and got our group some great access wherein we otherwise would have not had. Best private tour in Ercolano and Pompeii - The tour was catered to our family and Anna, our tour guide, was knowledgeable and very nice! We did both Ercolano (Herculaneum) and Pompeii which I really recommend. Anna was passionate about teaching us the history and answered all the questions we had for her.
