Don’t miss this opportunity with great local cooks! - My friends and I had an amazing time with Barbara and Stefano. The location was simply stunning with an outdoor kitchen nestled in the cliffs and vineyard. We learned about cooking techniques and recipes from her grandmother. Best experience of our Cinque Terra visit.

Cooked up a storm. - Barbara and Stefano were wonderful hosts and taught us so much about the local cuisine and how to cook it. We had a wonderful time, sitting on the deck of their home, overlooking the vineyards, enjoying what had been cooked with a glass of local wine.

Cooking in Riomaggiore with Barbara - Just an incredible setting with an fantastic teacher. Barbara was a great cook and taught us so much in a little bit of time. Cannot wait to use her recipes. The views were stunning from the hilltop above Riomaggiore and the experience cooking outside was a treat.

An unforgettable experience, elevating an already perfect trip - An absolutely perfect experience. My wife and I joined Barbara for a class in the hills above Riomaggiore. Barbara could not have been nice, more accomodating, or hospitable. She taught us so much about the local fauna, picking fresh herbs and lemons to use in our cooking, traditional techniques, local delicasies and differences from standard practice, all while making us feel like we were part of her own family. I'm sure any other cook from Cesarine would provide an amazing experience, but we felt like we won the lottery with Barbara and will never forget the experience.

Our experience - Unfortunately we were not told this experience wouldn’t be in the home of our hosts, and it was weather dependent and the dining table was under a vine covered porch. The terrain leading to the destination was very difficult to recognize and navigate. Less so when we left in the dark and the rain. We were unable to prepare the recipes and due to the rain we were unable to eat a meal. Instead we stood inside a makeshift kitchen to get out of the rain and ate our pre-prepared tiramisu. Despite all the negatives, our hosts Barbara and Stefan were very warm and inviting as well as apologetic for the weather delays and eventual premature end to our experience.
