Highlights
- Portovenere - Aperitif on the boat in front of Portovenere, waiting for the sunset. You will be able to take numerous photos of the picturesque houses of Portovenere, admire the majestic church of San Pietro and see the sun setting behind it
- Isola Palmaria - Tour of the Palmaria island. We will pass by the marble quarry, at the end. We will approach the Blue Grotto, famous for its crystal clear water and for the rocks which, when hit by the sun, seem to be coated in gold.

Isola del Tino - The island of Tino is a small, uninhabited island on which there is one of the oldest lighthouses still in operation. On the north side of the island we will see the remains of a Benedictine monastery and a WWII bunker.
Going around the island of Tino, we will discover another small island, called Tinetto, partly submerged, in front of which stands, in the middle of the sea, the statue of the Madonna Stella Maris, protector of sailors and the inhabitants of the Gulf of Spice - Grotta di Byron - We will approach the Byron Cave by boat, in the bay behind Portovenere, waiting for the sunset. This cave takes its name from the English poet Lord Byron, who used to swim there to meditate and seek inspiration to write his works
- Torre Scola - We will pass near Torre Scola, an ancient military fortress built in the middle of the sea on a submerged rock. Torre Scola was built in 1600 and was partly destroyed during the first Napoleonic war.

Awesome! - Beautiful tour in the awesome gulf of La Spezia!

A must - This was our favorite excursion yet. The guide was very personable, passionate and generous. The views were gorgeous and the information given on historical sites was captivating.
I would 10/10 recommend this if you are in the area.
There was also great music and drinks throughout the ride.

Great hosts , great trip with great information! - Enjoy couple of hours on the boat with information on the local area, good tunes and excellent hosts.

So wonderful! - The service was wonderful, Simone and his father, as were the views and drinks and snacks! Note-bring towels and something long-sleeve because we got chilly…even in July!

Great tour - Fabulous excursion. Beautiful sights to see on the water, time for a swim too. The sunset didn't disappoint either. The captain was fun as well. Would do again!

Great evening - We had a great time on the evening boat tour. The views were beautiful..our tour operator called us when we reached the harbor to help us get to the boat location. Sarah was friendly and genuinely interested in helping us learn about the historic stops on the tour. Highly recommend this tour .

Great views! Eat first? - The views were amazing! The trip
Was nice. They didn’t tell too much history, and I *guess I expected more than bread as appetizer. The focaccia (4 different) were good, great actually, but… thought we would get cheese, or one meat?

Boat trip - Enjoyed last half of trip nice back in calmer water.
First half of trip became rough and uncomfortable on sea
Too many people on boat
An introduction would be nice at start introducing crew and captain and explaining where the trip would go. Also to be told where lifejackets were. Unsure if enough on boat for all and for children. Some of our group Didn’t feel safe at times.

Very disappointed- cancelled with no reason - I made a booking in the morning for a sunset boat trip , got my confirmation . We were out all days visiting the town rushed back to head to the port for our 6.30 sunset cruise and I checked the directions to the port and noticed my booked was cancelled… No reason given. Extremely disappointed as I could have booked another boat tour and now too late as nothing available and we leaving La Spezia tomorrow. Do not use this operator

Unreliable Don't get stranded like Us! - Unreliable! This operator canceled one hour before we were to leave. The weather was sunny. We were only in La Spezia for one day and they have ruined this part of our trip.
