Highlights
  • Great Pyramid of Cholula - From our tram, you’ll be treated to splendid views of the Cholula Pyramid, the largest in the world in terms of base size.
  • Templo de Santa Maria Tonantzintla - This is the epitome of folk Baroque. The temple dates back to the 16th century and “Tonantzintla” translates to “Place of our little mother.” In pre-Hispanic culture, Tonantzi refers to the corn goddess and is linked to the safeguarding of people. This temple is undoubtedly one of the most stunning and remarkable in Mexico, showcasing Mexican Baroque at its finest: adorned with corn and dark-skinned angels bearing indigenous features.
  • Templo San Francisco Acatepec - The temple exhibits Mexican Baroque style. Between 1650 and 1750, it was embellished by Pueblan potters with Talavera Poblana mosaics, giving it a unique splendor in Mexico.
  • Plaza de la Concordia - At this location, you can explore various attractions on your own. Starting with the Portal Guerrero, featuring over 46 semicircular arches that extend for 170 meters, it’s one of the longest of its kind on the continent. You can also visit the Ex Convent of San Gabriel, one of the oldest in the country, built on the ruins of the Temple of Quetzalcoatl. Inside, you’ll find frescoes dating back to 1533 and paintings depicting the life of Saint Francis of Assisi. Adjacent to the Ex Convent is the Royal Chapel, constructed in 1540 to indoctrinate the indigenous people, notable for its 49 domes. You can also explore the Casa del Caballero Aguila, which regularly features art exhibitions. Lastly, you’ll have free time to also visit the Cholula pyramid on your own (admission not included) and to savor the local cuisine.

A wonderful guide who broadened our understanding. - We had an English speaking guide named Alberto He knew everything about Mexican history, He was a history graduate. We were interested in the Mexican Revolution He filled us in on lots of the history And that was before touring the churches and the pyramid! It was a perfect tour Much, much information

excellent - Excellent tour, I really liked it, it would just be nice if they added a little more things, in terms of going up to the church and the food and so on. but it's very good <3

Choose the tour in Spanish, 3 times cheaper than in English - Visit 2 or 3 churches with very decorated (and interesting) interiors, then 2 hours to climb to the top of the buried pyramid and take some photos, and then lunch in a local restaurant. All under a beautiful sun, and transported in an original coach.

Good - Make a stop at the archaeological zone and we could go down there, if instead of one of the churches we stop at the archaeological zone it would be excellent

Regular - I didn't like the comfort of the bus, and I think that the places visited are not the most interesting and the times assigned to the stops are very short.
