Highlights
  • Circonvallazione Gianicolense, 414 - ARE YOU READY FOR A ROMAN COOKING EXPERIENCE?
You’ll be welcomed into my Grandma’s house to learn the ancient and famous art of making handmade pasta. We will make pasta from scratch. We will be a maximum of 8 participants like in a real Italian family to make everything more authentic :)

You’ll be able to make traditional Italian pasta like Ravioli, Fettuccine, Tortellini, Cappelletti, Spaghetti alla Chitarra, and more.

Using only the freshest ingredients, I’ll also show you how to prepare famous Italian sauces. Since I was born and raised in Rome I will focus the experience on famous Roman sauces like Arrabbiata, Carbonara, Cacio & Pepe, or Amatriciana. Don’t worry if you’re vegetarian, there is a special menu also for you!

Of course, after cooking, we’ll enjoy what we have prepared in a genuine Italian meal all together with complimentary wine :)

Great evening with the family - We had a great time. Our chef William was a great host and instructor. The evening was entertaining as well as informative. The pastas and sauces were a hit! We were a group of four and joined another foursome that evening. Would definitely do it again.

Best Cooking Class in Rome! - This was a fantastic cooking class! The pasta that we made was some of the best pasta my wife and I tried in Rome. Riccardo and William are hilarious and great teachers. I would definitely recommend this class to any friends/family visiting Rome!

Incredible experience!!! - After seeing Riccardo's cooking class on YouTube we loved the idea of cooking with Riccardo in his grandmother's home, it seemed like such a natural fit. From the moment we arrived we fell in love with William, the set up, and finally the experience. Riccardo showing up a bit later was the icing on the cake. I honestly rank this experience as my TOP experience in Rome (yes, Riccardo and William, I loved you more than the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain! lol). It was such a personal experience, with only 7 of us cooking (appears to never be more than 8), William was not only a highly trained chef, but he made us laugh, he teased us, and we learned so much from him. I would take this class every time I visit Rome, and would recommend to ANYONE looking to not only learn to make some Roman classics, but also to have a memorable experience. You will not be disappointed. Grazie Riccardo and William!

Excellent class - Riccardo was engaging and skilled. With his delightful assistant, he took us through the steps of making an egg pasta dough, then preparing it two ways. He was patient, observant, witty, and helpful when we ran into difficulties. I recommend him highly.

When in Rome……you should totally do this! - The cooking class at Riccardo Cooking Class has been the highlight of our trip to Rome! Absolutely fantastic. We learned to make three delicious types of pasta and three complementary sauces that were yummy. The wine (sparkling, white and red) were all delicious and perfectly paired - no doubt because Riccardo is also a sommelier. Chef William was a charming, talented and funny leader for the group of 8. Everyone ate every bite and fully enjoyed the class. Can’t wait to go home and replicate what we learned today. Book your class!

Best Cooking Class in Rome - This was THE BEST cooking class! We had so much fun leaning different traditional Roman dishes but also getting to know the staff and our group. We took this class on our honeymoon and did not know the rest of the attendees going in. Riccardo and team made us all feel like family very quickly and made the day so fun. It is also a very easy location to get to (we ended up taking a taxi on the way there but walked back to Rome center after. It was about an hour walk back but there was tons of things to see and explore if interested). I will be recommending this class to all of my friends and family going forward and we plan to take it again the next time we visit!

Best pasta class! - This was hands for the best class! I researched classes and chose Ricardo’s and I’m so happy I did! He let us choose what pastas and sauces we were interested in and that’s what we made. You make 3 types of pastas as well as 3 sauces. He does the sauces mostly but explains them in detail as you watch him make them up. We learned a lot and had a lot of fun too! I can’t wait to try to make my own pasta at home.

A taste of heaven, of our own making - What an amazing experience! If I could rate higher than 5 than I would. If you want to learn how to make homemade pasta and a number of the key dishes dishes of ROMA, then this is a must. We made cacia e Pepe (spaghetti ), arribiata (papperdella), butter and sage (fettuccine) and a ricotta-stuffed ravioli (the class favourite, but all were fabulous). Our chef, "William", was engaging and very inclusive. And we received an email with all the recipes so we can try to replicate at home. I would attend again if different dishes, ex. carbonara, were on the agenda ! Can't say enough about this experience !!!!!!!!!
