Best guide to Forum I’ve ever had - Best way to see these special places is with a guide who has the passion and knowledge needed to give you a great insight to the history and also the best places to go to. Lena made the area come back to life and fuelled your imagination .

Best way to enjoy these sites - Best guided tour so far: Marco was fantastic, explaining in an impeccable English all the amazing things we saw in a very hot summer day. The visit was equally split between the fori and the arena; the time spent to go through the metal detectors and entrance gates was minimal, highly recommended!

A fun way to tour the ruins - Barbara made a three hour tour in the hot sun quite fun. She led us through the ruins at a reasonable pace, telling stories and taking breaks as needed.

Excellent experience in Rome - The guided tour of the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill was excellent. Very good organization. We did the tour in Portuguese. Gloria guide explained everything in detail. It was an enriching experience.

Disappointed in Rome - The guide was great. The tour company that I organized this through, not so much. I booked and paid for a small group tour to get a better experience. Without any contact from the tour company, they moved us to a large group for the tour. Definitely NOT the experience I paid for. They say you get what you pay for, in this instance, it wasn’t the case. I am still waiting on some kind of refund for this disappointing experience.

Disappointed - I booked our tour online several weeks before we travelled. The tour was booked for 10:30 am. One day before our arrival in Rome I received an email telling me our tour was moved to 2:30 pm. This turned out to be an issue for us. We had to meet a bus at 4:15pm to get back to our ship. We were forced to cut our tour in half in order to get back to the meeting point. We would not have had this problem if the tour wasn’t rescheduled. I would not have known about the change if I hadn’t accessed my email on the ship using their Wi-Fi. This is not fair or reasonable treatment of customers using your service. I would consider changing my poor star review if I was offered a refund.

Guide not found. No offer to “catch up” on the way to the visit. - Impossible to find the French guide at the meeting point. Despite our appeal, no proposal to recover the group if there was one. This would have been possible because the groups returned to the meeting point to join the forum
