A definite 5 Star, Excellent Tour - This was, quite simply, the best tour I have ever been on. Not only was our tour guide, Sara Terracina, knowledgeable and informative, but she also caused us to be emotionally connected with the tour sites. I have never experienced such a human connection to a tour before. The Grand Synagogue is absolutely beautiful. The story of the Jews in Rome dates back over 2,000 years, but it is as fresh as today’s news when Sara tells it. It’s a big story (the Coliseum was build from the money taken from the destruction of the 2nd Temple), a small story (candle wax in the door locks), and everything in between. Sara made each statement easily comprehensible, and yet no detail was too small. I thought we were just going to see the synagogue and walk the Ghetto. Instead, I had a life experience. A most definite 5 star, Excellent tour!!

Unmissable!!! - Best guide ever. Lots of knowledge, dedication and friendliness. Very updated too. He went to great lengths to show everything and answer questions. I definitely want to do Sara’s other tours. Super recommended!!! I had been to the Hebrew ghetto other times, but with Sara it was completely different. High point of the trip.

Impressive synagogue and small museum - Impressive synagogue and small museum. A guide takes you into the synagogue where you can take pictures. The building is quite impressive. The museum is small, and has judaica items like megilla scrolls and Torah covers. You need about an hour.
