DAY 1 - Arrive at the airport (via MH2042 ETA0745hrs) and enjoy a scenic 2.5-hour drive through charming countryside dotted with villages. Take a brief boat ride to Borneo Nature Lodge. Participate in an orientation session, followed by lunch and check-in. Unwind by the river before embarking on a 4:00 PM boat journey up Sabah’s longest river, the Kinabatangan, offering a chance to observe wildlife and birds in their pristine rainforest environment. Look out for various primate species, including the unique Proboscis Monkeys, as they settle in the treetops. The Kinabatangan Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the premier locations in Southeast Asia for wildlife observation. Spend the night at Borneo Nature Lodge.

DAY 2 - Awaken to the sounds of birds, insects, and animals. At 6:00 AM, embark on a morning cruise up the Kinabatangan River to Kelenanap Ox-Bow Lake for bird watching and wildlife exploration. Enjoy a short jungle walk (weather permitting) to experience Borneo’s wilderness before returning to the lodge for breakfast. Spend your free time exploring the surrounding areas or nearby village. In the late afternoon at 4:00 PM, take a boat cruise along the river to discover the diverse flora and fauna of the rainforest, followed by an overnight stay at Borneo Nature Lodge.

DAY 3 - After breakfast, check out at 10:00 AM and transfer to Sandakan Airport for your departure flight.
